Amazing addition to ANY room!
I originally purchased these lights to place behind my TV in the living room but quickly realized after setting them up they can be practical in almost any location you need to add a little accent lighting. I tried them out for a couple of months before purchasing them for a second time. In those months I found that they have great connectivity through my network and my Alexa. The setup was easy but the device (in the app) is a little difficult to understand at first, which I found surprising because I have other Govee products and the devices are easy to control within the same app. The lights are easy to add to Alexa and either create or update your routines for easy voice control. The product comes with a mount you can stick to the back of your TV or any other surface you plan to use it on. The product also comes with a stand so you can place it upright on a table or desk which may be convenient for some people. The brightness and color options are great for any purpose you may have. The one thing you may want to be aware of is the length of the wire. Be cautious and make sure the wire is long enough for the purpose you’re using them for. Overall these lights are a great addition to the lighting in my home, I believe you’ll agree.

Great Brightness and Color Variety, but Missing App Control
I recently purchased the Govee Smart LED Light Bars, and they’ve added a fun and vibrant atmosphere to my space. These light bars are incredibly easy to install, offer impressive brightness, and provide a wide array of colors to choose from. However, the absence of a dedicated app control is a bit of a downside.Installation was a breeze. I appreciate that Govee included all the necessary mounting hardware, making it a hassle-free process. It took me less than 10 minutes to have the light bars set up under my cabinets, giving my kitchen an instant upgrade. The adhesive backing is strong, ensuring the lights stay securely in place.When it comes to brightness, these LED light bars do not disappoint. They provide ample illumination, making them perfect for task lighting, accentuating decor, or setting the mood for different occasions.However, my only gripe with the Govee Smart LED Light Bars is the lack of a dedicated app for control. While they can be voice-controlled with Alexa and Google Assistant, I found myself wishing for a smartphone app to fine-tune settings and schedules. It would be more convenient to have the option to adjust the lights remotely or set up automated routines.

Great quality – go with dreamview
Govee lights are fantastic, bright lights that go well in really any room. I will say, if you intend to use these with your TV, get the slightly more expensive option with dreamview. The dreamview will project lighting based on what it sees from your TV and is a great upgrade to these light bars. Basically does the exact same things but more, however, also at a bit of a higher price point.

These are Very Versatile and Adjustable Accent Lights
This is the fifth Govee product Iâve purchased. I have four of Goveeâs LED light strips, and bought these light bars because my other Govee products have worked so well and been a good value. I bought these light bars to provide accent light behind two of my computer monitors.One thing to point out: the two light bars are attached to the controller via a Y-shaped cable. The y-cable, however, leaves you plenty of room to space the bar lights as you like.The triangular shape of the lights lets you place them at just about any angle you want. In addition, the stands/brackets that are included in the box give you very flexible mounting/positioning options.The total amount of time from opening the box to having them mounted in their final resting spot was easily less than 30 minutes. They can be controlled by the physical switch the light bars attach to, they can be controlled by the Govee app which installs on your phone, or they can be controlled via voice commend through the Amazon Alex app or any Amazon Echo device. Once I had these plugged in and turned on the Alexa app on my phone found them almost immediately.The Govee app gives you almost infinite effects and color combinations to choose from. You can choose from a wide array of colors for these lights bars, so you can match them to your décor. What I like best is they are bright enough (350 lumens at 100%) to really light up a space, but they can be dimmed using the app or a voice command. Iâve literally spent hours playing around with the app and all my Govee lights, checking out all the colors, themes, effects and brightness combinations.These did exactly what I wanted them to. They are excellent accent lights and a great value for the price.

Nice addition to home office
This was a nice edition to my home office. It works well if you have a multi-monitor set up (I have 5). It helps add a little bit of light where you can’t fit a lamp easily. I’ve got mine below 2 of my mounted monitors. The scenes are a nice edition and a nice feature from Govee. I ended up upgrading my smart light strips in the kitchen after having my first product from Govee. This works nicely with Alexa as well.
