Fun! Fun! Fun! HOURS of Entertainment for Little Ones!
Yes, just buy it! FUN! FUN! FUN! You won’t regret it and your little one will absolutely fall in love with it!I highly recommend this toy for hours and hours of entertainment. I have purchased different versions of this toy for close to a decade and it has always been a HUGE hit. This was my “go-to” gift for friends and family when they had little ones. When I was looking for a toy for my little nephews who were flying in from out of state, I was thrilled to find that it was still on the market. This is the only toy that I purchased on sight, without needing to research it or look at the various reviews.The lights, colors, sounds and especially the movement of the gears can quiet a screaming little one in seconds! My nephews (8 & 10 months old) were able to learn how to activate the movement of the gears by pressing the red “PLAYSKOOL” button. The removable gears were an added plus! The boys were very excited when they learned that they could pull the gears off, and as with most things at that age, chew on them. They attempted to put the gears back onto the toy, but at such young ages, they still needed a little assistance. I am happy though knowing that this toy will teach them and help develop their fine motor skills through fun play time.I personally don’t think this toy was too loud. I thought the sounds and music were at a nice level and much less annoying than most of the other toys currently out there. When the gears are activated, the gear noise is a little bit louder, but nothing that interrupted our day or conversations. We were able to easily carry on conversations without any type of interruption or needing to repeat ourselves. At no time did I even notice the volume level of this toy. Maybe some toys’ volume is louder than others? Or maybe I am just so used to extremely loud and obnoxious toys that I found this one to be pleasantly surprising. Either way, I find the music and sounds, both tone and volume, to be enjoyable.For hours and hours of pure entertainment, you simply can’t go wrong!!

This is one of our favorite toys. The kids love placing the gears together and it gets them thinking. We love it so much we have purchased it for gifts.

15 months of boy abuse!!
I hated this thing â¦.at first! Dylan has ALWAYS liked it. At 6 months (?) he could activate it himself. Great thrill. But before that even he would pick up the pieces and play. Then he started having success reinserting them. THEN he put a toy pig on the big gear in the middle!! He went and found the pig the other day and made it revolve. BIG thrill.(All this process excites him more if we resist showing him. Let him fugure it out. Fun to watch.)Now he can rearrange the gears. He sees that some of them may not be turning when he is doneâ¦.heâs figuring THAT out.CONCLUSION: I HIGHLY recommend this toy. It has grown with him, CONTINUED to be interesting (not just hright lights and noise).ANDHe has jumped on it. Thrown it. Dropped behind the couch. Looks NEW.

Works Great When The Gears Move
Item is shipped in a cardboard box and had a dent in the side. When we put batteries in and turned on the gears were hung up. We took off all the gears and ran it for a while without gears. Then placed the gears on again it ran and then it would have hesitation like it was hung on a gear. Not sure if the gear is misshaped (can’t see anything) or if the motor is faulty. Am using for tummy time for four and half month old. He enjoys watching when it doesn’t hang up. I may have to return.

Both my daughter and nephews loved this toy
Our Nanny gave this toy to our daughter when she was about a year old. She loved it and continued to play with it until she was over 3 years old. So, I just bought this for my twin 18 month old nephews. Huge hit with them. For two little guys who never sit still, they played with this for a good amount of time, stopped, came back and played more.

If you want a good cause and effect toy, this is the one. Push the button and it plays music and the gears all start moving. Great for autistic kids too. They can also do a matching game ~ Match the colour gear with the post it has to go on. We actually sanded off some of the colours it came with, and recoloured them to match, as our son would not put the gears on the posts if they did not match which some don’t. So Playskool take note, make sure all the gears match a post colour. Great toy.
