Location, Location, Location
My favorite part of SAMSUNG Galaxy SmartTag2 is that it tracks by using mobile app map. Even though this is a second gen tag it works great to track your luggage. It is good feeling to know that your luggage has arrived with you, in the same airport. It also tracks the history of the travel of luggage, for example, our trip started in San Francisco to Houston then to Cancun. The map shows all 3 locations of travel on a global map. Worth the investment and peace of mind!

Not compatible with our phones
This device doesn’t work with our Google phones. My son has a Samsung phone and he tracked our luggage all the way to the Bahamas and back through 3 airports with no problems. It was placed inside the bag at the top. Samsung’s app was hard to pair with the device and it took several attempts. Also putting the battery in required some skill. I am happy with the device-if they ever make it work with our phones I will buy another.

Once progtammed it is incredible
It comes in a tiny box with no usefull instructions. Definitely not for a n on tech person. BUT, once you gt it programmed it is OUTSTANDING. Leaves the Apple air tag in the distant 2nd best. It tracks accurately and even provides the address of location and track of recent history. I am definitely going to buy more for car and luggage.

The tag works great for our Chihuaha who has wandered off twice since we moved. You simply open the Smart Things app and after utilizing the instructions with the tag. You hold the button on the tag to sync it to the app.SIDE NOTE: You can sync it to other phones as well. You have to open the Smart Things app on the original phone and go into settings. Then you select share the location. Then go to phone #2 and open the Smart Things app, go to the Smart Tag2 device on it and pull up the map.

The battery on them lasts a fair bit. I like their key hole compared to the older models. A must own item for travelling.Tip ð¡I put them inside our luggage ð in case theyre misplaced to find them quickly. When i get to my destination i put it in the rental car and attach another to its key ð.
