Old fashioned customer service
I purchased this bulb almost 2 years ago. It was easy to set up. If you have Alexa, you just have to screw it in, turn it on and say Alexa find new devices; and thatâs it.The bulb worked perfectly but then suddenly it lost the Bluetooth signal. I tried to reinstall it many times but the signal wouldnât hold. I emailed Sengled customer service and advised them of my problem. I emailed them a snapshot of my purchase through Amazon. She asked a couple of questions to see if I tried reinstalling it. After that she requested the model number and my mailing address. She then confirmed she mailed out a replacement later that week. Itâs rare to get this level of customer service nowadays. Excellent company!

Thrilled to Meh Update back to Thrilled
UPDATED 6/23. Iâm here to eat crow. I have been talking these bulbs down after my initial thrill because they stopped working with Alexa. I did all the research. I did all the trouble shooting and I could not get them to work.. Well, for some reason today, I decided to tighten the bulbs. In both my lamps, and.. they connected with Alexa again. Iâm not sure why they became loose. Iâm not sure why it caused a problem because they still worked as lightbulbs but, hey, my Alexa connection works again and I am very satisfied with this product.âââââWhen I initially got my Smart device , I purchase two lightbulbs. I was absolutely thrilled with them. It was easy to integrate them, and they were easy peasy (and fun) to use. Now here we are less than two months later, and Alexa no longer is able to control them. Iâve spent a good amount of time troubleshooting. I have deleted them and reinstalled. Alexa recognizes devices, but is not able to turn them on and off. The troubleshooting was a significant and great waste of my precious time. They are just like normal lightbulbs to me now that I am turning on and off the boring old fashioned way. Great sadness. Two months does not seem a reasonable amount of time for the lifespan of these bulbs⦠and if it is that she clearly outlined in the description. Boo. Thumbs down.

This lightbulb was really simple and easy to set up once I screwed it into my lamp it connected to my Alexa almost immediately. I really didn’t have to do much of anything. It functions as stated and that’s good enough for me.

Update: doesn’t work well with old echos?
I had to return these because they did not work longer than a day with my echo dot 2, but amazon let me keep a bulb when I tried returning it, so when I got the new echo pop, I thought I would give the bulb another shot with the new device and it has been working flawlessly for days now, I expect it to continue. so while I got my money refunded, the least I can do is update my review.With my old echo dot 2, they work for an hour and then disconnect. you have to reset the bulbs and add them back to alexa twice a day. maybe the old device is just worn out, maybe its an older bluetooth standard that doesn’t work as well. idk. but the echo pop connects to it without error for days now. it does seem to disconnect the bluetooth speaker ever so often though, but idk if that is actually the bulb doing that.I now have a cat bowl light for when im away or asleep that also turns on when the motion sensor in my cat box is tripped, so I know my cat is in there

I love these smart bulbs!! They couldn’t be easier to set up, they’re dependable (they don’t disconnect or have connection issues), and you can’t beat the price. Making your home touch-free and voice activated doesn’t have to cost a lot!!! We have one Dot, one Echo Show, and a fire tablet that connect to the light without having to manually connect any of them. All I did was connect the light to my phone’s Alexa app, and all of our Alexa devices followed suit due to the seamless integration.My most recent purchase was installed in about 30 seconds like this:1) I opened the box and screwed the lightbulb in2) I opened the Alexa app, went to “Devices,” clicked the “+” sign, selected “Light,” then “Sengled”3) I clicked my lamp on and off 3 times, waited, repeated the clicking 3 times…4) My lamp “replied” by blinking and within about 30 seconds, my light was connected to my system and I could name it and control the brightness with my voiceI installed them in my parent’s country house to make things easier for them since they’re in their mid-70s. They have two very wobbly antique floor lamps that are difficult to turn on and off due to the design, so I replaced the bulbs with Sengled Alexa bulbs, so my parents don’t have to get up and fiddle with the on/off switch next to the lightbulb.

Pairs easily with my Alexa. I have bought the white light color and the warm. I love them both. I love that they can be dimmed. We’ve been using the same bulb for years. Definitely worth purchasing to save money on bulbs and convenience.

This is a simple light bulb with a smart function that allows you to pair it with Alexa to turn it on and off. For that, it does its job extremely well and is very reliable. Iâve never had any connection issues with it. It pairs up very easily with Alexa as well, although its own app is a bit less intuitive to use.Overall, I recommend if youâre looking for it to do a simple task and be reliable.

I bought this as it ticket all the compatibly boxes of my new £250 lamp. It sparked and destroyed my lamp! Thankfully Wayfair refunded fully, as I blamed the lamp. Just to be sure, I had another bedroom lamp that had the same specs required, it broke that lamp! Which was part of a set and no longer selling. This cheap second rate bulbs had ended up costing me over £300!
