Great for camping or even for a power outage
I rarely give any product a 5-star rating, but this is one of those times. This little lighting apparatus does a whole lot in a very compact form factor. It can be a standalone light, a 60-ft reel of string lights, or a phone charger. There are built-in LEDs for using it as an overhead tent or canopy light, and it has magnets on the bottom for mounting a vehicle, refrigerator, or anything else that isn’t stainless steel. You can use those LEDs either by themselves or with the string lights turned on. The string lights have 3 modes: standard, dancing, and “breathing”. There is a clever folding hanger loop that also doubles as the light string reel (to retract the lights back into the body). The end of the light string has a very small hook that you can use to attach that end to something thin, but it’s rather small, which is one of my only gripes. It does come with a carabiner you can use to help with that, however. And also it comes with about a dozen small clear plastic clothes pin style clamps for hanging the string lights.There is a small silicone flap that covers two USB ports: 1 is type C for charging the internal battery, and the other is type A for hooking up a charging cable to charge a phone or tablet.This is obviously useful for camping, but it could also be nice to have during a power outage. The string of lights is very long and could easily be used to light a decent sized room or a long hallway.

Awesome camping lights
We just purchased our second one. Not because there is anything wrong with the first one, but because we lived the first one so much that we got a arching one for our awning! It’s super compact, winds back up easily, and the battery lasts an entire weekend.

Easy to use and put away!
I used to use a roll of string lights for camping because I just love the vibe of string lights. However, the massive roll was such a pain in the butt to untangle, roll out, and put away. Especially in an emergency. These lights are nice because they roll up neatly and are easy to use. They also have their own battery so I no longer have to use our Eco Flo generator battery to plug in. I have considered buying more but my husband doesnât think we need any more âglampâ lights. Oh and there is a hook that holds the main part and another light inside the plastic that is nice as well.

What a charming upgrade to the campsite
Product as described. Having the reel to wind the string of lights is a huge help. I tried to use it to charge my phone but the battery on the lights died after my phone charge just a few percentage points. But that’s not the main purpose, so I’m not too bothered. It is more plastic than I expected, but I think it’ll hold up anyway.

I assume this will work better inside but do not take them camping. We had them At Coachella outside spring weather and the battery was nonchargeable after the first day. idk if it was the heat or our luck but this did not work for subtle or any light for that matter. I meant to send it back but missed my window, unfortunately.- UPDATE The company contacted me once they read my review, replaced their product, and gave me a full refund. I appreciate their persistence in the matter of making me happy. I was unable to read my emails immediately but they sent a few to get my attention in order to resolve my complaint. I am very pleased.

Sadly Only worked 1 time and will not charge
I bought these lights for our pop up camper. I was so excited because I am newer to camping and they were so dang cute. They looked great, looked great and i was excited about coming back to camp. Worked for our 2 day camping trip. A week later we went camping again, I strung them up and they will no longer worked. Tried charging them, won’t charge. We tried numerous chargers and different outlets and nothing. Very disappointed because they were so cute. I also can’t get a hold of the company to see about refund or replacement because their website doesnt seem to work. we have had them less than 3 weeks and ha e onky used the once. So sad.

Met veel verwachtingen bestelden we deze lichtsnoer. De belofte van een fijne lichtsnoer om buiten te gebruiken sprak ons aan. We bestelden hem net voor ons kampeervakantie en genoten die eerste avond van het heerlijke zachte licht van deze lichtsnoer. Het opbergsysteem is slim bedacht! Wij hadden in eerste instantie geen klachten maar toen de batterij opgeraakten (na 2 avonden/nachten) en we hem terug op hadden geladen ging die kapot. Het is te zeggen, we kregen het grote licht niet meer uit. De lichtsnoer deed het niet meer. De ON/OFF knop leek niet meer te werken. Het kwam heel onverwacht, na een eerste oplaadbeurt. Heel spijtig want voor de rest waren we heel tevreden. We moeten het dus helaas terugsturen!
