Has that classic look with a very, very good fit, finish, and feel, without being over stated.
I had some original Sony MDR110LP from back in the 90’s-00’s that are now discontinued and over priced. Got them originally with my walkmans and I love the classic look, feel, and sound. This Koss KPH7 are very very close. The sound is a little more treble than warm, and the sony’s were nice and warm sounding, but still light and open, but this Koss is in no way tinny sounding. Both basically work like open back headphones because the drivers are so small (they dont cover the whole ear, like larger over ear headphones), so some sound is able to travel out through the foam pads. They are not loud, even with sound on my flac player turned up to 80-85%, but i rarely need to go past that. Any more than that and you get distortion. If you are used to larger over the ear studio monitors or high end open backed headphones, this will be a step down. And in general, sound quality is average, maybe even a little less than your average sony, philips, or apple in-ear phones. But I bought it because i still prefer headphones over in-ear phones and I do prefer the comfort and open sound these give compared to any in-ear phones, whether high end or consumer – and i do have multiple pairs of in-ears from consumer bose, philips, sony, apple, to high end sennheiser. For general, casual listening, outdoors or indoors, I have a use for these, and I really like them. They are light weight, comfortable, more durable than in-ear phones, and I’m okay with sacrificing some sound quality to get more airy, open-ness.The value is amazing for the price. And if you’re looking to replicate that vintage 80-90’s sounding tech of portable cd players, walkman, and hand-held television/gameboys, this completely reminds me of that analog sound, maybe not the best warm, and full analog sound, but still -these are very nicely made, the materials are better than average for on-ear heaphones. They have nice clamp pressure, which can be forced looser if needed, and the pads are very very comfy.I would recommend these for what they offer, and for their price. If you just need some very comfortable on-ear phones that you can wear all day and don’t want to look flashy with your over-sized over ear headphones, and know that sound will just be decent, for 7$ I’d pick these up while they are still being made.On-ear headphone of this style and size are limited, but this one has that classic look, with a very very good fit, finish, and feel, without being over stated -just a 90’s kid in the modern world, rockin headband style phones and comfy foam pads.

Great for audiobooks and a small head
It’s hard to find lightweight headphones for adults that lay flat on the ear and adjust to a size small enough for my head. I also like that they don’t have plastic painted on the foam that eventually cracks and peels off. Perhaps this model won’t last quite as long as other more expensive models and eventually I won’t get sound in one ear. But heck, these don’t cost that much and I really like them!

Excellent Sound Quality
These cheap headphones work very well. Why not? They are made by Koss. I have used a pair of Koss Pro4AA headpone for live sound for decades. These little guys are made of what looks like fairly easily breakable plastic. The cable is not very roubust and needs handling with care. However for less than $6 delivererd, I think they are amazing.

Perfect for this “uncool” mom, haha!
Our teenage son always seems to somehow ‘confiscate’ and then proceed to break and/or lose every set of earbud-type earphones in our house, including mine that came with my iPod. So, he has now been relegated to only owning the least expensive kind I can find for him (even if that means pink ones, lol). So, after perusing Amazon, I bought these headphones for him because 1) they were so inexpensive, 2) the reviews were pretty good, and 3) did I mention they were so inexpensive?Well, when they arrived, I opened them up to check them out and make sure they worked and such. I was impressed and I really liked them. But when I gave them to my son, I quickly learned that, according to my son, over-the-head type “headphones” (as opposed to the in-ear or ear bud type) are so “80’s” and “uncool looking”. Was I angry at him for basically calling me “old and uncool” for liking these headphones? No way!! This was my perfect solution to keep him from “borrowing” and then losing/breaking MY headphones. Besides, I never really liked the ones that go into the ears anyhow. So now these are mine! For what it’s worth, I feel neither “old” nor “uncool” while wearing them. I promise!!*They fit great, they are snug but not TOO snug. If I was into jogging and/or some other type of strenuous exercise, I don’t think I would have any trouble keeping them in place on my ears/head (I swim for exercise so obviously I can’t wear them for that, lol).*The quality of sound is fantastic to me – although I’m not really an “audio snob”.*They are extremely adjustable on both sides although I happen to use them on the smallest setting without needing to make them any bigger.*They are lightweight, as stated in the description, but not in a ‘flimsy’ kind of way. I don’t think they are any more or less breakable than any other kind of similar headphones (yes, I did go through many sets of headphones like these during the 1980’s).Since I don’t expect to be rough with them at all, I am hoping they last me quite awhile. If not, and they do somehow break, at least I wouldn’t feel *too* bad only being out a few dollars. I would ABSOLUTELY order these again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for inexpensive, but nice, headphones. They are perfect for this “uncool” mom. :-)***UPDATE*** June, 2015: Well it’s been nearly two years and I’ve gone through about three pairs of these headphones (and I’m going to order a few more after I write this – now that they have pretty color options). Not one pair has broken yet, they just seem to get lost somehow (in our house, we joke that when things go missing it’s because unicorns come and eat them). I’m glad they have color options now and I would still absolutely recommend these inexpensive, and nice, headphones.

For price good but cushions fall off easy
Definitely worth it for the price if you are one of those moms that throws these away a lot because your kiddos destroy them. But the ear cushions do fall off easy.

Perfect size for kids
This is my 3rd pair I’ve bought for my kids. They love them so much, they each wanted one for school. They are really comfortable and very light weight. The sound is great and quality is nice. They got nicely in their bookbags.

This is a very decent set of cheap over the head headphones. The wires are skinny and the plastic headband is not industrial strength so people who are rough or careless may not be able to use them for long.I am not rough but I am cheap so I like them. They are relatively comfortable and sound relatively good.

Well, to put simply , these are junk. I bought this one and one other pair of Panasonic headphones, for similar price around 10 euros. Franqly, it’s a shame that reputable company like Koss produce garbage like this. Sound if muffled, plastic is cheap and sharp (so it scratches you skin on the head!). Avoid.

The connecting wire is very very thin. Easily gets damaged.
