Model number makes all the difference. They shipped me two different models in one singular order.
Model W31-N15 is not compatible with Alexa. It has no Bluetooth, no wifi, and the QR code doesn’t work. This model is outdated and doesn’t work with the app.Model W41-N15A is .3watts stronger, and the QR code works. It is Alexa compatible, and also works with the app.Neither of these bulbs can be quickly setup though, and neither QR code is accepted by the app. There’s another model out there that’s Bluetooth compatible, and I highly recommend that over these. These two models aren’t comparable for color depth and brightness, as that .3watts makes a HUGE difference. When you receive these, be sure you at least have the W41-N15A model, as these are ideal. This model will serve you well.

I never thought my family would like a lightbulb so much
Our bulb came free with an Alexa device so we weren’t expecting alot. I see us purchasing more of these in the future! It was extremely easy to set up. The range of color choices and dimming ability is wonderful. The kids have fun setting the color. Being able to easily dim it through alexa when we are watching a movie is so nice. You can also set it up to come on and off at certain time so you don’t have to come home to a dark house.

Able to install once I wasnât trying to on the Ring app, but instead using Alexa
I love being able to change the color of each lamp in my living room or sitting room.. In addition am able to control all the lights using my Alexa APP. They are LED and energy efficient to boot, which makes them a must buy. Less bulbs to the environment to be recycled.

They work 90% of the time
The bulbs work and do everything they are supposed to, however if I lose power to whatever room they are in or the whole house they tend to unpair from my Alexa. Then I have to go through the tedious process of resetting them, scanning the little QR code on the bulb just to get them reconnected.

Cool toy for the kitties
First bulb works fine. Second one, for a different room, only worked for a day. The support phone number provided with the bulb is disconnected BUT Amazon took the return and sent another bulb. So far, so good. If you have cats or kids, the app really makes it easy to amuse them with changing the colors and brightness. Yes, anything to amuse the kitties is always a success in our home.

Glitch
Have had this bulb stop working with Alexa and have not been able to re-connect. No particular cause for this. Some still work but the few weâve bought have not.

Easy to set up
I’ve read really great reviews. I have read some horror stories. If you have a Zigbee and Matter smart hub. This is easy as screwing in a light bulb. Trying to get all the preliminaries out of the way. I’ve tried to scan ever bar code on the box and manual with no success. Then I screwed in the light. Before I could get the manual and try to figure things out . I had a notification telling me new device found. That’s it.I love RGB. One light so many colors. Just ask Alexa or use the app. I planning on buying more very soon. No need for a light switch. Alexa lights on or off. Set a routine. Dim the lights for a movie night or just relaxing. Highly recommend

Finally figured it out
At first I did get sengled smart bulb to work on Alexa but after one day it went into the unresponsive mode. I kept trying to pair following troubleshooting instructions and Google. It said to get another code from another app which was confusing. So I gave up and put in a return for my bulbs. Then a few days passed and I decided to give one more try. And the kicker is that after no success the first time I started to utilize the Amazon smart plug for my lights in home. So when I re-paired the Sengled smart bulb along with the Amazon smart plug it worked perfectly and no issues/ it just creates another light in the app for that particular light. And also the other thing is that you have to make sure you reset the bulb to the original state before trying to pair it again when the lamp is plugged into the amazon smart plug. I did this with 3 already. And another thing it did was the smart bulbs also says Connected Via echo dot that I have upstairs, which is paired with another Smart bulb that is the Amazon smart bulb brand and not Sengled. Which is so weird because it worked perfectly from the start. Iâm also wondering with me having the Amazon smart Bulb paired with my Alexa app does that what makes the Sengled smart bulbs work perfectly this time. Not sure but it is something to think about. Also the new lights in the Alexa app populates the 11 digit code under the settings for the new light, which didnât do that on my first attempt to troubleshoot, but I didnât need the new codes which expire after 15 minutes of populating. The Sengled bulbs connected using the Amazon smart plug and possibly because of me also having an Amazon Smart Bulb paired to Alexa as well.Hope Iâm not confusing but it all blew my mind when I tried again before shipping back. ð
