My CO2 alarm was going off constantly whenever our home heater is turned on, and I did smell a little bit of gas in one of our rooms. I bought this to test and see if we have any gas leaks, it works wonderfully. Comes included with 2 batteries, I’d imagine you’d never have to change them out since just turn it off once the intended usage is done, unless the batteries degrade over time. It tells you what level of gas is in the air, I’ve tested against my stove without turning on the stove and let the gas escape. Then I tried with my furnace, and it does show gas leakage. Thank goodness for this, so I don’t keep the furnace on and cause a huge fire.

 It takes the device around 20-30 seconds to warm up, after which there is a beep to tell you the device is ready. Tested it on the gas hob to make sure it was working. Then used it on a pipe that I believed was leaking has and this device confirmed the leak. The device made loud continuous beeping and the LED screen turned red.It’s small in size and appears to be accurate. It comes with a handy carry pouch (be sure to check the bottom of the box), and two AAA Duracell batteries. I think device is good value for money, and good if you want some reassurance on gas leaks.

Dit is echt iets wat ik al jaren mis. Altijd maar met sop aan de gang om te kijken of er gas lek ergens zit.Nu is het pen aan en meten maar. Werkt op verschillende gassen. Erg blij mee. Aanrader voor alle klussers.
