Connects automatically!
Looking for the right bulb to brighten your day, look no further! These bad bois have 5,000 kâs (whatever the heck that is) of brightness and they connect to the Alexa app faster than I can get the wife to pick dinner.Wanna spend 30 minutes trying to connect these bulbs to the app only to find out one wonât connect? These are not for you then.Wanna pull the bulbs out of the box, screw them into their finely thread forever socket, have immediate connection and brighten your day up? These are the bulbs for you then.

Iâve used these lights for about 4 months now. When theyâre working as they should I absolutely LOVE them. I like being able to control the brightness through Alexa. Unfortunately Iâve had some of the same problems as the other reviewers. I have about 16 lights and they do randomly disconnect from Alexa. Having to go through the recommended reset steps is a pain. Iâve had luck recently with just restarting the Alexa device to get them to reconnect. Itâs much quicker this way.Additionally, one of the lights has already stopped working. I see they are advertising a 3 year warranty and I shall soon find out if they will honor that. If my experience is anything like the other reviewers I donât expect to get a response from the seller.They are definitely over priced if I will need to replace a bulb every 4 mths or so.I like the bulbs but they require maintenance and attention. If you donât mind doing that then I would recommend you purchase. If you want to plug and forgetâ¦these are not for you. I probably will research other options when I go to replace the bulbs.

I never realized how much I would enjoy giving the command: “Alexa, turn on front light.” Not that I’m too lazy to walk over and flip a switch, but getting out of bed in the middle of the night if, for whatever reason, I need to go through the front room, it’s super cool and convenient to not have to turn on a flashlight to get there, or be blinded by a bright light and stub my toes.These light bulbs work great and were easy to pair with Ms Alexa!

Unlike a wide variety of products that claim they “work with Alexa” only to learn that you have to have an app running somewhere and have to configure things to actually use them, these things went right in and were soon discovered by one of our dots when we asked. No more lightswitch required! No dimmer required! You put two of these in a fixture and you can now turn on either or both and dim them, too!

They lured me in with a special offer and I got my first bulb for 99 cents. Everything went great, I even ordered more. I loved them at first. And then I didn’t. Why? Because suddenly out of the blue they disconnect and stop working. And then you get it set up again, if you even can get it set up again, and then it might work again for a day, a week, a month, or even a year…but sadly it’s usually a very short period of time that it stays connected and you’re definitely not going to get a year. I have wasted more of my time, life, and money trying get these bulbs to work. Flip your switches 5 times and they blink so you can set up. Flip your switches 10 times and it re-sets. Supposedly. The Sengled app works like crap. I’m currently trying to set up my hall lights (yet again). The Sengled wifi doesn’t show up in my list of available wifi. Now I’m getting a message that “Some brand setups are temporarily unresponsive. I’m out of the return window now. I’m hoping these bulbs die before I do so I can order reliable smart bulbs. I may start drinking heavily and just kill the bulbs myself and call it a day. #sengledisnotyourfriend6.29.2021 And there go the office lights. Worked this morning, then 2 of the 4 lights in the room stopped responding. Now itâs all 4. Now time to carve out and hour or two out of my life to fix themâ¦again ð¤¬7.31.2021 the gremlins are back. This week the lights in the hall, the office and bedroom decided to stop working. I donât have time to deal with this, AGAIN, but if you enjoy wasting your time constantly resetting things then I highly recommend that you buy these.9.30.2021 the hall lights havenât worked in months no matter what I try. The office lights work, then donât, then they magically work again. The nightstand hasnât worked in a few weeks and wonât reconnect. I hate these bulbs! Funny how all my Kasa smart plugs have ZERO issues, Iâm going to see if they make bulbs too and get those and be on my merry way. So, itâs official now, with ZERO regrets, I am finally giving up on these bulbs. They are a nightmare and a huge time suck on your life. But by all means should you have nothing better to do with your life and money, then you should definitely buy these, they will keep you busy. DO NOT BUY THESE BULBS! And folks, that is my final answer.12.14.2021 Once again I canât begin to tell you how much I hate these bulbs! I finally gave up and bought Kasa dimmable bulbs. Easy set up, work great. Buy Kasa unless you like wasting your time (A LOT of your time!) on trying to get the Sengled bulbs to reconnect after they magically stop working. And even if you can get them reconnected youâll go in to the Alexa app and see that âdevice is not responsiveâ. These things are trash, DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

Es una excelente compra tomando en cuenta que ya tengas Alexa (Echo), no tienes que descargar ninguna aplicación del fabricante, se vincula super rápido con tu asistente de voz, y lo puedes manipular desde la aplicación de Alexa en el celular. Cabe señalar que estos focos funcionan a través de Bluetooth conectándose directamente con tu dispositivo Echo, y contrario a lo que se podrÃa pensar que la señal no les llegará a los focos si se encuentran muy lejos de donde está nuestro Alexa, no es asÃ, se conectan a través de una “malla” creada con los mismos focos, o sea, cada foco funciona como un repetidor de la señal y eso amplÃa la zona de cobertura… excelente compra!

 Iluminan muy bien, mejor que otros y su configuración es muy fácil y rápida, directo desde la app de Alexa. El único pero es ese, que sólo son compatibles con Alexa. En el video, cambio su iluminación entre 100% y 1%. Nota: sólo es blanco, no es de colores.

I’ve been using these bulbs for 5 months now and have had no problems with them. Super easy to install (it’s just a lightbulb, how many people does it take to screw one in? lol) and detect through my Amazon Show(s). I know some reviewers have said that these bulbs have stopped working after sometime but it may be the strength of their Bluetooth that is affecting them from working properly. I installed one bulb in my living room, one in my home office and a Amazon receiver switch for the dining room LED accent lighting and all are about 1-15 feet away from an Amazon show in my home and they all work great. I LOVE the convenience of turning the lights on with my voice commands (“Alexa, turn on the office light.”) and when going to bed at night, can just give the voice command to turn off all the lights at once (“Alexa, goodnight”.) You can also control these lights from your Alexa app and it doesn’t matter where you are in the world; as long as your home’s Amazon Echos are online. I can turn my lights on from the work office or when I’m about to arrive home to make my house safe. One last thing to note is that if you use these lightbulbs, you need to leave the light fixture on. For example, if you put a smart bulb in a lamp, that lamp needs to be on to power the lightbulb, even when you don’t have the lightbulb turned on. This allows the bulb to “listen” for Alexa. You can still manually turn the lamp on and off but to use voice commands, you’ll need to leave the lamp on, and turn the bulb off through Alexa.Aside from detecting the lights through the Alexa app during the initial installation, there’s little to no programming. Simply install bulb, turn on light, let Alexa detect and give each lightbulb a specific name (Dining Room Light, Office Light, Living Room Light, etc.) and THAT’S IT. You don’t even need to recite the name for Alexa to understand.If you use Amazon Echo at home, you NEED to get these light bulbs. I can’t tell you how many times I found it convenient to turn lights on by using voice commands, like if I’m upstairs at night, I can give the command to turn on the downstairs lights before I even go downstairs. It probably sounds miniscule but these smart bulbs do es indeed save you time and effort.
