Great bundle for those new to Malibu!
Like others, I heard about Malibu hard water packets through salons on social media. Stylists recommended clients use the powder treatment before visiting a stylist pre-color. I’d been having trouble with hard water and was looking for a fix, these seemed like they could help. When I saw the packets were available in a shampoo and conditioner bundle I was eager to try the whole system.I’ve only used one of the packets in this bundle, I found it a bit messy, and difficult to distribute through my wavy/curly hair. I don’t question that the product works I think I was the issue, haha!I totally love the shampoo and conditioner! The scent isn’t my vibe, but it doesn’t bug me and I cannot argue with the results. My hair loves the shampoo especially. It really makes my scalp and hair feel clean without feeling stripped. The conditioner is very nice in-between hair mask weeks for me. I’ve already repurchased a larger bottle of shampoo, I love it!

Like the conditioner, not the shampoo
I really wanted to like this product but the shampoo was drying my hair out. I did find a perfect shampoo/conditioner combo that works for me though. I use L’Oréal Professional Metal Detox shampoo and then use the Malibu Hard Water Wellness Conditioner followed by Biosilk Silk Therapy leave in conditioner. This combo has helped soften my hair and eliminate the frizz. If the shampoo is drying your hair, try another shampoo with the Malibu conditioner.

This came to me very very messy
I order this product to try and help my hair due to have very hard water. Iâve been many good reviews on this and my hair stylist uses the remedy packages on my hair every time I get my hair done. I was so excited when I saw this came in. But then so bummed out when I saw the product was leaking everywhere⦠The tops on both the shampoo and the conditioner were loose. Being a little nervous that they might have been used then returned, I sent mine back..

I could definitelyyy see a difference after the first wash. i could also just smell the metals lifting from my hair though when i used the packet so i did a second wash afterwards or let the hair mask attempt to take away the smell. nevertheless love it.

Not good for naturally grey hair
The Malibu C is a wonderful claraifying shampoo, I liked the conditioner too. the third part of the treatment I could not use because of my natural color, grey. i would not have purchased the set had I known that I couldn’t use 1/3 of the kit. The description had no indication of this exception. It was disappointing to say the least when I read the treatment and discovered this on the back of the packet.

I wish for the life of me I took before and after photos. I went to Cancun and wore sun lotion every single day and it absolutely ruined my extensions aboard. It was so bright orange and pink no matter what I put on it nothing was putting it back to normal. I have bleach blonde hair reference. When I got home, I ordered this set and was a little sceptical in all honesty so I thought I was going to have to do a bleach bath to sort my extensions ultimately. I shampooâd followed by the crystals and conditioner. I couldnât believe the difference after using the crystals. I was so surprised I used these three products along with a very good pigmented purple shampoo so girls I recommend anyone with bleach extensions that are ruined by sun lotion to buy this and also use a purple shampoo all at the same time and I promise your extensions will be back to perfect! Iâve put on a photo of it saying itâs not recommended for severe discolouration, but mine was terrible and honestly it worked so well.

I never thought I would write a review for shampoo/conditioner, but this one deserves it. I moved from a country with water I thought was hard to a country with water so hard we cannot drink it. My hair felt increasingly dry and awful. I tried moisturizing shampoos, hair oils, etc. Nothing made much of a difference. Then I stumbled on this one, and I kid you not, from the first wash my hair has felt softer and fluffier (I have not been able to get my hair cut in 7 months, so it might be TOO fluffy) I have naturally grey hair, which is usually fairly dry at the best of times and this had made it feel great. I plan to keep using this when I finally move somewhere with soft water and look forward to seeing what healthiness happens to my hair then. Cannot recommend this shampoo/conditioner enough

I received the product within a couple of days from ordering, packaging was great and there were no leaks.I live in the Montreal South Shore area and we have very hard water. I work out a lot and therefore need to wash my hair more often.I have long dark brown hair and noticed over the years that my hair was becoming lighter in colour and it was becoming very dry, this could also be age-related, but after testing our water and learning that it is very hard water, I realized this was the main culprit of the hard effects on my hair.I have used this product only once so far (I am writing the day after), and wow, what a difference in just this one time.Shampoo and conditioner smell fresh. The shampoo lathered nicely (I usually have to use a lot of shampoo to build up a lather). The minerals were very interesting to use but spread well throughout the hair, the smell was odd, but I knew that was from the minerals, as soon as I rinsed the minerals…I could feel instantly the difference in my hair texture, and it felt clean!!! I conditioned after (I only condition the bottom of my hair so that the top doesn`t get weighed down) and it was great, felt very smooth.The day after using this my hair feels soft and no longer as dry and styling my hair seemed much easier and quicker, my hair responded well!

I recently moved and have found the water is turning my hair orange… i thought this might help.. however it made no difference 🙁
