I like the design and the controls are decent for the price. HOWEVER, a big negative for me is that some of the games that come on the included memory card either do not open, crash or they open but you cant play them because none of the buttons are mapped, making them unplayable. Not many games with this issue but if they fix this issue I will give this product 5 stars.

perfect for retro gaming
This is a great little handheld. It comes with thousands of games for SNES, Sega genesis, PSP, playstation and GBA. It has 2 TF/microSD card slots. The main slot is for the included card with the OS, but its a pretty low end card so I replaced it immediately cloning it to a good branded one.I have been using it for a few months now as I like retro games and prefer physical buttons to a touch screen. So far so good with this thing. The buttons and sticks feel really good in hand like a good aftermarket controller, not sticky or mushy, they click back up crisply.The software itself can easily be upgraded, there is a pretty big aftermarket community for ARBENIC out there.If you care about color accuracy and settings there is also a pretty big community working on settings to get them to look and feel more like their original tube tv form.It can play some dream cast games too with a software update, but its a little choppy, anything past that is going to be rough. It plays Crazy Taxi decently so I tend to play that fairly regularly along with SNES titles like the mega man X series and mario games.It includes a charging cable but no brick, and a screen protectorThere is also a mini hdmi port and 2 USB-C ports which work for OTG drives if you prefer thumb drives to TF cards. I have not used the hdmi port but I guess since it can use Bluetooth controllers I could use it with a larger TV… just not something i have tried yet.I do find when the battery is low it will load just into the ARBENIC black screen if its asleep so if it jams at that try recharging it to full and power cycling. that has always fixed it so far for me.

Alot of fun without a learning curve
This is a great device for someone who wants to play games without needing to learn alot to do it. The menus are easy to learn and navigate. Every game I have tried has worked without needing to change anything. The screen is nice and bright with good viewing angles. The build quality of this is excellent. It feels nice and solid in hand. I love the clear color and being able to see the internal workings. This has stereo sound because of having two speakers. All of the controls works very well and I have had on false or missed inputs with any of them. This reminds me so much of my rg353m. This is a great system to take with you on the go and will fit in your pocket. The battery life is good and I have had no issues charging it like some other handhelds out there. I find the operating system on this to work well and you also have the ability to access retroarch to get to more advanced settings. If your familiar with handheld game systems then I think you will appreciate this and if you are new to the game this is a good starting point to get into retro gaming.
