The anti-jamming antenna helps military, aviation, and other industries stay safe by blocking interference and keeping GPS navigation accurate.

Inertial Labs, a VIAVI Solutions Inc. company, has introduced the M-AJ-QUATRO, an advanced anti-jamming antenna system. Equipped with a Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) and digital processing technologies, it ensures Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (A-PNT) in GPS/GNSS-challenged environments, supporting military and commercial aviation applications.
The system is designed for defence and aerospace organizations, government agencies, and commercial aviation operators that require secure and reliable positioning in GPS/GNSS-challenged environments. Military and defence users benefit from its anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities for mission-critical operations, while aviation authorities and commercial airlines can enhance flight safety and navigation. Government agencies focused on national security, transportation, and infrastructure protection can use it to mitigate GNSS interference.

The M-AJ-QUATRO covers L1, L2, and L5 GNSS bands, providing interference mitigation and secure signal processing. It features adaptive digital nulling with over 34dB+ interference suppression (export-free version) and over 45dB+ suppression (export-controlled version). Its jammer direction-finding capability enhances situational awareness by identifying and isolating interference sources.
The system ensures reliable global coverage by supporting GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, and QZSS. Dual FPGA-based encryption and anti-spoofing technology secure signal integrity for mission-critical operations. Built to withstand extreme conditions, it meets MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F standards, making it suitable for defence and aerospace applications.
PNT services are critical for transportation, AI hyperscale data centres, telecommunications, energy, finance, and defence. Government agencies and industry leaders are advancing CRPA technology to counter GNSS jamming and spoofing threats. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) are accelerating their approval to enhance aviation safety and reduce GPS interference.
“As the FAA and NAWCAD push for CRPA integration into commercial aircraft, M-AJ-QUATRO is positioned as a market-ready solution for both military and civilian applications,” said Jamie Marraccini, Vice President, Inertial Labs Products, VIAVI. “With regulatory shifts streamlining CRPA adoption, this launch marks a significant step in ensuring secure, interference-free navigation for mission-critical operations.”
