Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and develop product environmental profiles form technical documentation created by product development teams.
• Responsible to guide the teams on the component safety and use.
• Responsible to identify in case if the existing component has any risks with respect to safety and failure.
• Should initiate the component safety review meetings with the cross functional teams from Development , Quality and Industrialization.
• Should take part in Design Field Mode Effective Analysis (DFMEA)
• Analyze and profile circular economy aspects of Secure Power offers, as instructed
• Collaboration and Networking (including Global Coordination): Participate in Communities of Practice with Environmental Subject Matter Experts and Materials Experts from across the geography.  Leverage skills and activities to fulfill strategic missions across the business.

Essential Functions

• The engineering support includes areas of UPS, batteries, electrical panels, cables, power distribution products, transfer switches, transformers, power monitoring solutions, breakers and other electrical components.
• Understand UPS products through design, specification, applicable standards, configuration, application, operations etc to provide fast and accurate response to field service/sales teams/LOB design leads in support of field failed parts analysis/Service or Sales queries.
