We are looking for a highly skilled Electronics Hardware Engineer with expertise in PCB design, schematic development, component selection, and prototype testing. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing embedded hardware solutions, working with Altium and KiCad, performing SPICE simulations, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
Key Responsibilities
- PCB Design: Develop multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer & KiCad with an optimized layout for performance and manufacturability.
- Schematic Design: Create detailed schematics based on system requirements and select appropriate analog, digital, and power components.
- Component Selection: Choose suitable electronic components considering electrical parameters, lifecycle, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prototype Assembly & Testing: Assemble, test, and debug hardware prototypes to ensure functional accuracy and performance.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve circuit-level and board-level issues through advanced debugging techniques.
- Embedded System Knowledge: Must have designed or worked with microcontroller-based or Linux-based embedded boards.
- SPICE Simulations: Perform circuit simulations using SPICE or equivalent tools to validate designs before prototyping.
- DFM & DFT: Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and testability to improve production efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with firmware, software, and mechanical teams to develop complete solutions.
Skills Requirement
- Expertise in Altium Designer and KiCad for PCB design.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting at board and circuit levels.
- Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and signal integrity analysis.
- Hands-on experience with embedded hardware design (MCUs, SoCs, sensors, communication interfaces).
- Knowledge of power electronics, SMPS, and analog circuits is a plus.
- Experience with SPICE simulations for circuit verification.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance and PCB design constraints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years
