Keyence has introduced the KEYENCE TM-X5000 Series, a next-generation telecentric measurement system engineered for precision and speed in inline inspections. It ensures unmatched accuracy across diverse applications. Powered by a dual telecentric optical system, it captures silhouette-based images with exceptional clarity, regardless of material type or target alignment. This unique configuration eliminates focus-related errors and provides distortion-free imaging, ensuring reliable measurements even on moving parts. High-intensity green LED illumination enables exposure times as short as 25 µs, allowing accurate inspection of fast-passing targets without image blur.

Designed for versatility, the Series supports up to 100 simultaneous measurements, including outer diameter, width, height, radius, GD&T, and defect inspection. It detects burrs, chips, foreign particles, and even subtle surface flaws, making it ideal for automotive, electronics, medical, and industrial applications. Installation is straightforward with the system’s optical-axis alignment function, and the compact sensor heads are adaptable to tight spaces using optional mirrors. With flexible mounting options—base or base-free—integrating the TM-X5000 into existing lines is simple and non-intrusive.

For larger components, the TM-X5065 provides a wide 65 mm field of view, while the TM-X5120 delivers maximum coverage with an ultra-wide 120 mm range, making it perfect for inspecting large or multiple targets simultaneously.
