PCB Design Engineer – SKD At Danfoss In Pune

Job Responsibilities

Your role will be to take responsibility for PCB design and specification for primarily embedded systems. Furthermore, you will execute and coordinate R&D activities within a specific project, including all relevant activities and documentation.

• Can be able to create schematics.
• Designing of Multilayer PCBs with 4/6 or more layers.
• Can be able to create footprint and symbols/ manage library.
• Implementation of changes to existing designs and creation of manufacturing data for external production.
• To generally give advice and support relating to printed circuit board technology.
• Communications with internal collaborators and external manufacturing partners

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

• Bachelor’s engineering degree in Electronics/Electrical or similar.
• Training as an electronics technician or comparable training.
• Several years of experience in electronics circuit PCB designs.
• Professional experience in printed circuit board design preferably with “Cadence Design Entry” and “Cadence PCB Designer”.
• Industrial background preferred.
• Structured and methodical approach.

Additional Skills and Knowledge

• Cadence Orcad, Orcad Capture, Eagle PCB tool knowledge, CAM350 tool knowledge.
• Basic understanding of electronic devices and circuits.
• Knowledge of PCB materials and stack-up planning.
• Ability to understand DFM specifications of vendors; knowledge of component assembly procedures.
• Understanding of datasheets of components and knowledge of component footprint creation.
• Strong ability in designing PCBs with mixed signals and high-speed signals.
• Knowledge of thermal management and EMI/EMC guidelines from a PCB design perspective
