I just made these today for a party! Today is 12/31/2023.I ordered the wrapped boxed candies from Amazon. I could squeeze 2 wrapped candies in each one be putting them back to back sideways. I used the tape around the candy boxes to seal in the candies under each of the domes⦠See pictures above on finished wrapping, before I take to the party! Iâll video their reactions to the domed candies at the partyâ¦.

Bigger then expected. Very elegant and beautiful and well put together. I’m using this for a elegant tea party. It’s Alice in wonderland theme. Cheap and smelly
So technically, these little stands look just like the picture. From the distance they look OK. They feel cheaper than expected â lightweight plastic. The gold paint is scratched off in a number of places. They donât stand sturdily on tables – thereâs a little wobble. The absolute worst part of these little stands is the smell. Pungent, dirty, smell. As though theyâve been kept under a pile of dirty thrift store clothes. Almost a smokerâs smell. Honestly gag worthy and disgusting. I do have hopes for them though. Iâm going to see if the smell miraculously evaporates if I wash with soap. They were meant to have cut mini desserts inside. If no joy, Iâll be returning or pitching, whichever is best.Update: no joy. I washed one little stand vigorously with soap and water. The stench remained. Returning.
