Works great and removes clutter!
I had my sync module plugged in in the kitchen but it was just a mess with the cords. I had something like this previously for my amazon echo and then I found one for this. The cord length is perfect and everything fits just right. Also love that it comes with a small flash drive. The flash drive I had previously was rather large compared to this one. Overall would recommend this for anyone with a sync module!

Jump drive works, and looks good.
I guess Iâm just reviewing blink accessories today. Just reviewed a doorbell peice that wasnât an official blink accessory, and knocked it down because the fit a finish made my doorbell look bad. This is also not made by blink, but I was vigilant about the function of the mount not looking good, and the jump drive not working. This looks good (not great), and the jump drive works, so Iâm happy. Eliminates a long cord, and makes it look neater.

Must buy the plan-local storage not working
Install was fairly easy, so excited, we had it two weeks and it quit working. Tried to contact support and that was a waste of my time. Tried everything the help suggested. Finally deleted the entire system, and reinstalled everything didnât work.Deleted everything again and even deleted and reinstalled the app. Still not working. Been a week now. The âfree trialâ ends soon. So nice of them, we wonât be subscribing. My husband and I both have wasted hours of our time with this thing, tried 50+ times to get this thing to work. It keeps telling us the internet password is wrong (it isnât, all our other stuff is connected and works). Apparently ours is defective. Will update if I ever hear from support.Donât waste your money.Update: did finally get it working with support, but still having issues with it not saving video. Purchased the plan and it is no longer an issue. I think itâs on purpose so you have to buy their plan. We still have issues with local storage not working more than 6 months after purchase.

Cheapest way for me to get a new flash drive
My flash drive was causing all kinds of problems with both Blink and them my laptop as I was trying to figure out what was wrong. I started looking at USBs only, but then I found this, and it turned out to be the most affordable option so I went with it. I moved the Blink to a wall outlet, and it works great.

Title says it all. Got tired of trying to figure out how to do the online version, save some money by this plug it in and youâre literally ready to go right off the bat. Easy peasy!

Blink has automated the destruction of USBs to encourage reoccurring subscription revenue
Blink’s Deceitful Tactics: A Cautionary TaleBlink, an Amazon company, has employed a deceptive strategy that undermines the core purpose of its home security cameras. While the cameras can function adequately with a cloud subscription, their local storage functionality, advertised as a subscription-free alternative, is rendered useless. The Trickery:Automated Destruction of Local Storage: Blink automatically writes two new folders to your USB storage device, effectively hijacking it.Data Theft and Erasure: Your existing video footage is either transferred to their servers or erased, leaving you with a compromised device. The Ultimate Insult: Blink then attempts to sell you your own security footage in the form of a memory book.Customer Service Failure:Automated Responses: Customer support is unhelpful and appears to be automated, offering no real solutions.Human Interaction Void: There’s a distinct lack of human involvement in resolving customer issues.Reclaiming Control:To restore your local storage and regain control of your security footage, you must manually delete the folders created by Blink using a standard computer.A Warning to Potential Buyers:If you’re considering Blink’s home security system, be aware of this deceitful practice. Prioritize your privacy and security by choosing a system that respects your data and offers true local storage functionality.

And for a piece of plastic, TO EXPENSIVE if itâs less than â¬10,- (without the USB stick) it would be OK.
