AOQEE 2K Solar Camera: A Surprisingly Good Buy
I’ve been using this camera for a while now, and I’m seriously impressed. Especially considering the price, it’s a steal!I needed a camera to keep an eye on my patio door, but I didn’t have a power outlet nearby. A detachable solar panel wasn’t an option because of my HOA rules. And to make things even tougher, my wife’s got a ton of plants and trees, so finding a spot with direct sunlight was a challenge.I finally settled on a spot under the covered part of my backyard. I figured the sun’s angle would give me about an hour and a half of direct sunlight each day, but I wasn’t sure if it would be enough. Even so, I decided to give it a shot.The camera itself is really well-built. It’s all metal, heavy, and has a built-in solar panel on top. The mounting bracket is super sturdy too. Setup was a breeze using the app on my phone. It took me less than a minute to get it connected to my Wi-Fi.I was surprised by how well the solar panel worked. I spent a month on vacation, and the camera never ran out of battery. Even with some cloudy days, it kept going. In fact it is almost a week I’m back and so far it is still going, no need to recharge the battery, just solar power !The image quality is 2K, which is good enough for me. I don’t need 4K or 8K just to watch my door. Plus, the night vision is surprisingly good. It can easily illuminate the area around my door from a distance.Overall, I’m really happy with this camera. It’s a great value for the price, and it does the job perfectly.I’ve attached some pictures to show the image quality, the zoom capability and the night vision.The first one is the normal door view, the second showing the digital zoom and the third the night vision (the light on the window is the night vision of another camera I have)

Great Affordable Solar Security Camera!

Great solar camera for places you don’t have power!
These cameras were very easy to set up and install. They didn’t require any maintenance or charging for weeks. I will say you’ll want to keep an eye on battery levels and the cameras connection because if they go offline you’ll have to go out and power it back on. The power button is on the under side of the camera underneath a rubber protective cover. I had no issues with battery life or connection when the sun was out everyday but a couple days straight of no sunlight took them offline. The picture quality is above par and the features are great. You can set the lights to activate upon motion, you can activate a siren, and even two way talk to the person via the app. Overall I’m very impressed with the battery life and the ease of use with these cameras. If you’re looking for quick and easy low maintenance solar cameras these will work great.

Easy to pair with even crappy wifi. Wanted to use it to check out my vacant land with my neighbour’s wifi. Worked great.

C’est une affaire réglée en quelques minutes. C’est d’autant plus simple que l’alimentation est solaire. On peut l’installer partout. Possédant un autre modèle solaire de la marque, son autonomie est vraiment bonne. Elle fonctionne chez moi depuis plus d’un an sans interruption, uniquement sur le panneau solaire.La qualité d’image est parfaite pour l’usage, de jour comme de nuit. L’image est stable et nette. Le champ de vision large permet de couvrir une large zone La connexion au réseau wifi est facile, un simple scan de QR code et elle se connecte. Son intégration avec mes autres cameras de la marque ne pose aucun problème. L’application est simple d’utilisation, intuitive et propose la detection de mouvement avec envoie de notifications.Je la recommande les yeux fermés

This is my second solar powered camera so already have the Wansview App setup on my phone to easily add this second camera, the S1 unit is different from my other camera because it has the solar panel built into the top of the unit, it’s more compact and far easier to install, the view is fixed as I only need it to cover the rear garden area.The S1 has been fitted for almost 2 weeks in a fairly shaded corner of the garden, very little sunlight as it’s been miserable and cold lately and the lowest I’ve seen the battery is 94%.From taking it out of the box to installing and connecting to the Wansview app took me about 30mins – so easy and very happy with the quality of the camera images, sound, lights, alarm… All checked and working perfect.
