    Functional
As a father & caregiver of 2 boys, I was looking for a product that would allow me to work outside in the yard, yet still give me peace of mind that if my boys needed something, they could push the button and I could quickly come inside. Unfortunately, this isn’t the product I was hoping for.I will say, the push buttons work fine inside the home, and you can definitely hear the alarm. You can also customize the ring so I knew which boy had pushed the button. And while there are some other customizations that can be done, those are the ones I used.Maybe if I signed up and use the subscription service, what I’m looking for would be available, but I doubt it. The reason this product may work for you but not for me, is because I would get a notification on my phone, which is what I wanted. However, it’s a push notification that doesn’t make a sound. That certainly doesn’t help me, I need a sound associated with the notification to prompt me to look at my phone. Checking my phone and seeing a notification I missed 15 minutes ago could lead to a serious issue. So, I’ll keep looking for something to meet our needs. My Star Rating Scale:5 stars – Perfect, or as close to perfect as possible and would definitely recommend to anyone.4 stars – Works well, but could see some minor changes that could make the product better. Would recommend to others.3 stars – Functional, but areas of concern or major changes that could make the product better. Recommend researching other options. OR, neutral ranking, nothing really special or bad about the product.2 stars – Barely functional, recommend researching other options.1 star – Avoid at all costs!

    Peace of Mind
This wireless caregiver and patient call button is both well-constructed and simple to install. It’s an excellent tool for elderly family members who might need assistance at any time. If they’re alone and need help, they can easily press the button to alert someone. You’ll receive notifications through the receiver and can also set up the app on your phone for added convenience. The call button has a long-lasting battery, so you won’t have to worry about it running out quickly. It also has an impressive range.Once you have one of these, you wonder how you lived without one. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my mom can let me and my brother know if she’s fallen, which has already happened a couple of times recently. It’s the second best thing to have, if you’re loved one isn’t living with you.

    DOES NOT WORK
I have tried 6 times to set up the SOS pager exactly as the instructions say. The pager DOES NOT WORK. It pairs with the remote buttons, but rest of the setup fails. The remote buttons do nothing. No lights. No sounds. No beeps. Nothing. Requires USB plug in for power. Very disappointing given how much time I spent. Tried calling and texting support, that just goes to a screen to buy home screens and sounds. I’m returning and finding something else.

Get them before you need them.
Ten years ago, I provided Hospice for my wife’s father, in our home. I got so concerned about his having a stimulating and positive experience, I had a harp player come twice a week and play beautiful, relaxing music. I took him to day care so he could be around people his own age, I even had a nurse come to the house and give him a bath three times a week.It seemed to me, I was doing a great job, and nobody could do better. I forgot how important it was to demonstrate his self-sufficiency whenever possible. He was a strong man and with aids, like a cane or wheelchair, he was able to take some responsibility for his own care. Although I paid a lot of attention to his having daily stimulation and entertainment, I considered his personal safety and well-being to be my number one priority. One night, my wife and I awoke to people talking in our front hallway. I got up to find two EMTs crouched around my father-in-law, who was on the floor, with his back against the wall. He had fallen down, all things considered, the worst possible thing to happen to him since he started living with us.The EMTs were just getting him ready to transfer to the hospital, and had given him some strong pain relievers. It was impossible for him to tell me what happened. At the hospital, I was able to speak to one of the EMTs that had brought him. Evidently, he was on his way to the bathroom, something he was never allowed to do without help, fell on the floor, and cried out to my wife and I for almost a half an hour. We couldn’t hear him.Fortunately, he was wearing his emergency medallion, and was able to summon help, a half after he had pushed the button on the device, he wore around his neck. As it turned out, he had broken his hip, which he never recovered from. He passed a way four months later.A friend of ours was going to provide the same care for one of their relatives, as we did for our father. When I found out, I rushed over to their house and banged on the door. When the door opened, I held up the ’emergency call for assistance’ system, that we had used with our father, and told them, This is one of the most important pieces of Hospice Care equipment you can get, and I would be more than pleased if you would take ours. Now, some years later, we have moved onto an island, and live in a fairly remote location. A week ago, It finally dawned on me that bringing emergency care to our house would take any ‘extra’ time we could get. So I ordered the PILSAMAS 3 Pack Wireless Caregiver Call Button, from Amazon, before I actually need it. Because it would be a serious problem to need one and not have it.If you know, or even if you don’t know, you might need quick and timely emergency care sometime in the future, I suggest you consider getting a PILSAMAS 3 Pack Wireless Caregiver Call Button system. Most importantly, when you get your Caregiver Call Button System, put it in a place for quick access, and don’t forget where you put it.

Using as my personal safety device
I’m not using this for an elderly care device. I’m using it for myself when I’m downstairs working out. It’s always worried me that I could endure myself, and my wife upstairs when you hear me calling. I have a wireless access point downstairs, so this does get a little bit of a boost, so I can’t say for sure how it might work in our home without that. But for the purpose I’m currently using it, it’s VERY handy.

    Works great as a doorbell
I originally was gonna use these for my mother in law to wear in case of emergency, but couldn’t get to to function properly for that. Plan B, I decided to use as a doorbell system for her instead. Very easy to use.
