Founders Matt and Monica with their 3 little ones
Matt and Monica started THEO’s because although they desperately tried to embrace the mess, they cringed every time yogurt spills and messy crumbs fell to the ground. Seeking disposable eco-conscious products to make BLW mealtime easier, they decided to make their own. Now they want to share their products to help other parents feel a little less stressed and a lot more present. Read along to learn more about their story….
THEO’s began out of the need for a clean floor when Theo began spilling food and our recently passed pup wasn’t there to lick it up.
Monica didn’t want to deal with washing or wiping a splat mat, so Matt got to work on making a disposable one.
Matt made an affordable, eco-safe disposable splat mat, and the rest is history! THEO’s has since grown into a full line of products.

A must have
We takes these awesome mats with us whenever we take our toddler out to eat. It makes clean up so easy. He can drop and throw things without us worrying about the mess and then when itâs time to go you just swipe all the wipes and other mess onto the mat, crumple it up in a ball and leave it on the table. Everytime we go to a restaurant, without fail the staff thanks us. Weâve even been give free appetizers by management. Itâs also great to have when visiting friends or family. I donât have to worry about food damaging rugs or floors.

Life saver!
These are so great! We have a vent in our camper directly below the high chair and this keeps all food out. They also make clean up a breeze when we go out to eat or visit family! Super easy to unfold and pick up when finished and I love that they are big enough to throw the high chair scraps in too and the paper towel or wipes used to clean up!

Brilliant
These are brilliant. I took my toddler granddaughter on vacation and out to eat at nice restaurants. The service staff were very grateful, and the splat mat allowed us all to enjoy our dinner. Just wrap it up and all the mess is gone.

reduces clean up to an extent
I’ve been using this product every night for dinner since baby started solids, 7 months ago. I also take it to beach/camping to line the picnic blanket. I love that this product is 100% paper (no plastic). It is a good size to catch 90% of the food projectiles. But because it is thin paper after all, any moist pieces of food will seep through. But it does reduce clean up efforts by about half and I keep buying it.

My gift to servers
When eating out, my kid is a mess. She loves throwing food on the floor. I would always feel terrible for the server staff. With these mats, it catches all the food that falls on the floor for easy clean up.

Perfect for messy baby
First day out with these mats and we got two compliments from staff at our local diner. Caught everything my 9month old missed and just wrapped it up when we were done. Perfect.

Adhesive leaves marks on wood
Great quality placement and adhesive ensure it stays in place but when use on wood table, it left a mark. Not the impression you want to make when youâre a guest and the person then has to oil their table to remove the adhesive residue (if it comes out at all). There was a lighter line where the adhesive was. I am still using these because they serve their purpose but cautious in which tables we use it on

Weâve used this plenty of times and it has stuck and stayed put on almost all types of restaurant tables. Itâs a decent size too. Always have some in our diaper bag just in case. Started using it well before our LO turned 1 and although he initially tried to pull it off the table, heâs now used to using it and doesnât do so anymore. We would sometimes fold part of one side under the table and it sticks just as well. Highly recommend!

These products are cheap, no better than crape paper, they are not suitable to be underneath a high chair as they just rip. Would not buy these again.

We bought these for a vacation in Mexico with a free feeding very messy 16 month old. First of all, yes these are expensive but I believe worth it. We used them in every restaurant on the resort, it made us very popular! When your little gremlin is done eating simply fold up the the generous sized paper splat mat including all the debris for easy disposal by the restaurant staff. Dining with young kids isnât easy and this took some pressure off. The waiters loved us and aside from the benefit of improved service, we would have felt awful leaving all that mess on the floor anyway so for us it was necessary.

This is such a smart product. Especially for babies who self feeds themselves and makes a mess. Everything on the table in front of them. Clean up is easy too. Just pull off the mat and done.
