3M Solus 1000 series protective eyewear features Scotchgard Anti-Fog lens coating which helps workers see clearly, longer – providing longer lasting fog resistance than traditional anti-fog coatings. When microscopic water droplets land on lenses without any type of coating, they bead up and form condensation and fog, obscuring your vision. Scotchgard Anti-fog Coating produces a reduced-contact angle, flattening the water beads into a thin, transparent film of water that allows light to pass through. The coating retains its effectiveness for at least 25 washings with water, allowing workers to wear their eyewear longer. The coating can be disinfected with diluted bleach soaking or alcohol wipes without losing its anti-fog performance. Washing with soap and water is considered a best practice and can enhance coating durability. These safety glasses have a low profile and are available in bold, modern colors for a personalized style. Based on 3M internal testing per EN168 test method when compared with traditional anti-fog coatings. Meets the High Impact Requirements of CSA Z94.3-2007 and the High Impact Requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2020.

3M Safety Glasses: See Clearly, Stay Safe, and Look Cool!
Let’s talk about these 3M Safety Glasses. They’re not your average eyewearâthey’re like the superhero of safety goggles. The grey lenses? Sleek. The green/black frame? Stylish. But it’s not just about looks; these glasses mean serious business.First off, they meet ANSI Z87 standards, so you know they’re tough. The Scotchgard Anti-Fog coating? Brilliant. No more fogging up when things get steamy (or when you’re making a dramatic entrance). And comfort? They’ve got it covered with a snug fit that doesn’t pinch. Perfect for long hours in the workshop or when you’re DIY-ing your latest masterpiece.Whether you’re grinding, sawing, or just rocking that industrial-chic look, these glasses have your back (or rather, your eyes). So, protect those peepers in style with 3M Safety Glassesâyou won’t regret it!

Best safety glasses
They are light, they clean off easily, and wrap around your eyes to protect from side impacts. Snug on your face without pinching. Visibility is flawless when theyâre clean.

The Best 3M Protective Eyewear
I have a purchased a few different 3M protective eyewear and I have to say these are the best ones, especially when working out in the sun. The tint is DARK so it really makes working outside on a bright sunny day tolerable. Their anti-fog is really good too. I live in the south and itâs hot and humid and these glasses donât start fogging up until I have already been sweating for at least an hour or more.I have high cheekbones as well and they fit my face perfectly. My eyes are fully protected and they are really comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend these.

Great glasses
I work in a very hot ware house. Theses glasses do not fog over like all the cheap ones do. I can wear these all day with no issues.

Comfortable, impact rated sunglasses
Bought these for landscaping to use instead of clear safety glasses. While neither a high end pair of glasses nor polarized, these glasses have worked out great for landscaping, running, hiking, chopping wood, and under a full face shield. The fit is tight to the face with a small (0.5â-1â) gap on the bottom. Would be nice to have a gasket if you want dust protection as well. These 3M glasses have a high impact rating (Z87+). Iâve been hit with a rock right on the lens of an older pair and they kept me and my eyes safe so I trust in their certification.Given their simplicity, the fact that the legs can pop off and on without issue, their comfort, their shade, and their impact protection, once these get scratched up, I plan on buying them again.

Great for pickleball
I bought these as eye protection for pickeball. I wanted a clear frame because I didn’t like how framed glasses blocked my view a bit going for overheads or dinks. These clear frames work great and the lens doesn’t fog up. The lens is curved but doesn’t seem to distort view much and so far after several months of use no scratches. Definitely a great and inexpensive choice if you’re looking for some eye protection while playing pickleball.

Not great for MTB
Bought these for eye protection for when riding mountain bike. The construction is good, feels solid and well made. Optics clear. A few draw backs – they sit very close to your face, the top touching your brow. When you sweat, it just drains into the inside of the lenses making vision difficult. Also because they sit so close to your face, they fog easily when exerting yourself.Obviously these arenât made specifically for MTB riding, but other brands safety glasses have worked fine in the past – and figured these would as well but they donât. Again, well made just not for my needs.

As an automotive technician for almost two decades now, safety glasses are an important part of my PPE kit in the shop. Being one of the few guys in our shop who actually wear them, I wanted a pair that would be comfortable, durable and easy to clean throughout the workday.I needed a set of good amber lens safety glasses to brighten up the shop but didn’t want to pay $42 for a pair off the Snap-On truck again.I purchased several UVEX ones previously and liked how light they were, but they lacked the silicon bumpers over the nose, so these are much more enjoyable.I am a hard person to buy safety glasses for as they always never seem to fit right, but these were great and I plan to stock up on more. I also like that they come from a Canadian safety supply company, which is great eh?The price is far more expensive compared to other safety glasses on here, but the fit, finish and quality of these glasses make them worth it all day long. I’d rather spend $20 on a good quality set of 3M safety glasses (a company that is synonymous with safety) than $5 each on four cheap pairs that I go through quicker.
