Lifelike and easy to work with
These Norfolk pine picks have a nice feel, are bendable, and the ends droop. So in that respect, they’re easy to use and look pretty natural. Close up, they look plastic, but from a distance are lifelike. Itâs nice that so many come in a pack. We will definitely be using them.

On trend, realistic looking, so many uses for these!
It is August as I write this, so I have just been quickly playing around with these Norfolk pine picks, but so far I really like them. They are pliable, sort of a rubbery plastic, so they drape nicely and look real compared to a lot of fake pine you see at Christmas. The bottom ends are wire that is fairly thin, which means it is easy to bend, twist, and hide. As another reviewer pointed out, these are about 13 inches long rather than 15 inches long. Despite that small blip, I like these a lot and am happy with how my little test projects have turned out.I can already tell these are going to come in so handy for Christmas decorating. For one thing, I have a faux Norfolk pine garland that is a little skimpy, so I can supplement it with these to give it a fuller look where needed. I also just bought some new Christmas stockings that are plain white plush fur, and have been playing around with decorating them a bit. Adding one of these Norfolk branches to the stocking’s hanging loop is simple and it will also match the already-mentioned Norfolk garland I have for the mantle. These Norfolk branches are also easy to bundle up and place in a pretty container for an easy holiday arrangement. In my photo, I just quickly plopped about 40 out of 50 of them in a wide-ish container and am happy with how it turned out, but I bet I would really love it if I took the time to arrange them more deliberately and dress the arrangement up with some ribbon or red berries. I also used some of these sprigs to dress up some clear glass candle cups. I took three of these branches, folded the wire underneath the needle portion to hide it, placed them on a white plate with red trim, placed a candle cup on top of the branches and a red candle in the glass. Again, even though I was just playing around and not trying too hard, I am really pleased with how it turned out. I have a long, skinny white platter that I could give this same treatment to, but line up several candle glasses in a row on the platter. I really like that idea as a centerpiece for the dining table.Overall, I am very pleased with these. Norfolk pine is on trend and these branches look fairly natural. I like how easy the wire is to twist, bend and hide vs. the branches with thicker stems that look like wood. Just quickly playing around with them in August, I have found several holiday uses for these pine branches and I am sure when the holidays actually get here and I have all my decorations out, I will find even more ways to dress up my home with them.

as described
Item arrived on time and well packaged. No issues. The pine picks are perfect for my Christmas projects. My intention is to use them in recycled milk bottles as either decoration for the dash in the motorhome and/or to give some to family members for use in their house as decorations. Some of the adult kids are just starting out, so this will cut back on the decorating cost and who knows may be a tradition to make more next year. A great project with the younger crowd as well. I’ll update when the project is complete (still need to add some red berry picks) and spraying the bottle red or green, maybe a little glitter and a nice bow to tie it off. I’ve also toiled with adding a chalkboard label personalized with the guests name or just to be used as a party favor. So many possibilities and as I think about it, not just for Christmas; this could be used for fall, Halloween/Thanksgiving, just by changing up the colors on what you add, picks or little acorns/pinecones, etc. I suppose you could spray paint the pine picks? Keep in mind that the main stock of the pine pick is the only part that is bendable; the rest of the branch is floppy but you could maybe use a glue stick to change that option? Give them a try, I’m happy with the selection.

As pictured/floppy; shorter than expected
Overall, these pine picks look just as pictured. Including the fact that they are floppy and hang just as pictured. At first I wasn’t a huge fan of that, but honestly I think it makes them look more realistic and they can hang over the edges of my porch pots to add some dimension. They are made of a flexible rubber-like material, which is why they’re floppy. Only taking off one star because they are not as big as stated and are smaller in person. It states that they are 14.9″ in length, but tip to tip they’re only 12-13 inches. I was hoping they’d be a little larger.

Floppy
These are made from a rubber-like substance. It is not a stiff plastic. The branches are floppy and not bendable. This not not a bad thingâjust worth knowing for your application. I ordered the quantity of 50 and it could easily do a full 20â wreath. The pick wires are short (2â) and thin. I agree with the description of durable and weather resistant. I intend to use them to create a holiday swags for my window where I attach them to a grapevine form. These will work perfect.
