No-Stress Turmeric Tonic Tea
A golden cup of anti-inflammatory goodness
This is a delightful anti-inflammatory tea to help jump-start your morning and wake up the gut and kidneys. Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties make it an excellent companion to calming and rejuvenative herbs. In this tea, turmeric is paired with the polysaccharide-rich adaptogens like eleuthero, ashwagandha, and astragalus for a soothing and restorative touch.
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for about 10 seconds. You can also opt for a hand blender or milk frother. Sweeten to taste with the sweetener of your choice. Pour and enjoy immediately!
Author Note:
I always suggest making your own nut milk. It’s so easy and a lot healthier for you. Nut milk with zero fillers is a healthy fat and a clean protein that’s actually anti-inflammatory. Take a few extra minutes and load up your fridge with these healthy milks; this way you’ll have the best carrier for your medicines!
Ingredients 1 teaspoon ground turmeric ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom Pinch of ground nutmeg ¼ teaspoon astragalus powder ¼ teaspoon ashwagandha powder 1 cup homemade cashew milk 2–4 ounces hot water
Quick Cashew Milk Recipe

Mom of two chihuahua who think they’re Rottweilers –
This book is a treasure. Beautifully designed and rich in wisdom.
Based on the photo, you might think this is an oversized coffee table style book. It’s not! It’s approximately 7″ x 6″, making it so much easier to read and carry. The design is stunning, and the paper and print production is much higher quality than most books. Part historical brief, part reference guide, and part recipes, this is a true treasure. Very glad I stumbled upon it and bought it!

Wonderfully Written Little Book!
I’m really enjoying reading this book. It’s beautifully printed and feels nice to handle. It’s much smaller than I expected, but that makes it a very friendly little book. Full of beautiful photos and good design, I love the way Adriana Ayales of cult wellness herbal brand Anima Mundi Herbs writes about these herbal treasures. Her passion and love of these wonderful healing botanicals is a joy to behold, and she packs a lot of wisdom into the pages. A great intro to adaptogens, their history, healing benefits and applications, with some bonus recipes in the back!

A Must-Have Resource for Anyone Interested in Wellness
Fantastic book that I think everyone should have in their library. The book is sturdy, arrived in perfect condition, and was delivered with no issues.Itâs packed with a wealth of information on adaptogens and how they can support a healthy lifestyle. The detailed explanations and practical advice have been incredibly helpful. For example, my partner thought he was allergic to onions and garlic, but thanks to this book, we discovered that the real issue was his excessive intake of reishi mushrooms! This book has truly been an eye-opener and a great tool in our journey toward better health. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of herbs and natural wellness.

Great for the beginning herbalist
Beautiful illustration, accurate information, too simplistic for what I was looking for. Wonderful for the beginner though.
Fun Gus –
Stunning good book, albeit I am new to adaptogens and use….
I do read an enormous amount of non fiction and this one stands out. Well presented, clearly explained and some “recipe” combinations at the end of the book allow you to experience adaptogens “stacked up”. Really good book and not condescending nor expecting you to be a die hard intellectual. Lovely book, adore it, will gift copies as well.

Must read
Definitely worth reading! I love this herbalist and all that she has to offer on her own store, Anima Mundi. Hard to summarize into words, but this woman is very knowledgeable in the herbal community and love that she brings her native roots into her work. Please read!
