Cool shirt… with a modification
With the one exception discussed below, I really like this shirt. The fabric is medium weight and has a natural feel. I haven’t had it cleaned yet so it is to be seen how it comes out after that. I like the color I ordered, grey, which is a fairly light grey which looks close to the color shown in the ad. I like the way the collar stands up, which again is similar to the way it looks on the photos in the ad.To gauge the fit, check out my photos, tucked in and untucked. I ordered size XL. I am 5′ 11″ and weight 195 lbs. I like the fit.I always wear long-sleeved shirts with the cuff rolled up over itself either two times or three times (the fourth photo shows it rolled up three times), depending on the fit of the shirt. To use the strap and button on this shirt requires rolling up the cuff four times (first photo), which makes the cuff too tight around my forearm and too restrictive at the elbow. With the cuff rolled up three times, the strap shows hanging down below the rolled up cuff (as shown), so I have cut off both the strap and the button. That button is sewn to a bit of reinforcement, which remains visible on the sleeve after the button is removed, but is not a big deal. With this modification, this has become one of my favorite shirts.

Summer Shirt – Button Up Sleeves – A tiny bit rough
So, linen has a loose weave which makes it not as ‘smooth’ as some other fabrics, however, some linen washes to a softness. This shirt remained a bit ‘rough’ on the skin even after washing. Now, this is very minor…it’s NOT like wearing burlap!!!! I will definitely wear this shirt when the temps warm up. The shirt did not shrink in chest width but did shrink about an inch in length after washing and drying. See photos for sizing info for a small. The photos on the Amazon web site show the tabs that are sewn inside the sleeve and which loop around the bottom edge of a rolled up sleeve to help hold the rolled cuff up on the arm. This feature is often found on ‘outdoor’ shirts used for fishing, hiking, boating, etc. but on this garment, I think they are more of a fashion feature. The lighting for some of my photography is not great – this is a black shirt and the color remained true after washing.

Great Fit, Decent Quality
A great fitting shirt that skirts some of the more western-traditional collars/non-collar wear out there on the market. The material is thicker than my initial perception from the pictures, which was an added plus vs. my expectation, however it does also wrinkle more than I thought it would have. Would recommend ironing / steaming, or just hanging on a hanger right out of the dryer.The fit is pleasantly slim – I have a broader chest and average, slightly built build, and the shirt slides on an fits in a more confidence inspiring way (no weird things done to body shape), especially with the sleeves rolled up. The style of shirt overall does push some boundaries, and is open to interpretation, but I really like the look. The five star deal is sealed for me by the price – the sub-thirty asking amount is a very reasonable for a well-fitted, decent quality shirt such as this.
