I was surprised to see how well this works. It picks up on sound real well. Nighttime recording is easy to see great Field of view and easy to install.

Nice looking easy online setup
This is nice looking and easy set up. Had a ring doorbell already. This is a newer version. The online set up was very easy. However, reason for less stars is whoever thought it was a good idea to move the two screws for the wired doorbell to the actual doorbell instead of leaving on the back plate needs to be fired! Can not even hook them up because there is t enough room and mine did not come with the extended wires as mentioned in the set up video. The view is far superior to the old version and much clearer. However, If the older version was available in bronze I would return this one. Otherwise works as described.

I like the picture quality, great value for money love the size, security and battery life, and the video recording. I missed the solar charger but I will be purchasing that and the chime. I love the ring doorbell and the fact standard features are included.

Easy install, great product!
Previously installed Wyze cameras at my mother in laws which have been pretty decent so we decided to go with them for our new home. Instant regret. The doorbell was a total bust from the beginning. I had to go through all sorts of hoops and hurdles to get it going including having my husband install a chime to the existing chime!? All this only to have it go offline within the first few days. Literally some kind of firmware malfunction that Wyze is well aware of, has no solution for yet still has them on the shelf! Returned within a week, got this doorbell instead from Ring. I had it ready and installed myself within a good 15 minutes. Works well, picks up on motion and no lagging. Great all around. Truly recommend this product!

Something doesn’t seem right.
A few days ago my old Ring v2 stopped providing camera views. I purchased the newest Ring doorbell (2024) version, successfully connected it to the network – according to the setup confirmation – only to see that it shows “Offline” aka unconnected in the app. I tried a couple of different WiFi networks to no avail. Using the Ring app, I could see the battery charge, etc but was unable to see a live camera view.I contacted Ring tech support but still couldn’t get this resolved. Ring setup in the past has always been very quick and easy, so not sure what’s going on.Finally, earlier today I learned of another Ring doorbell user in a different city that could not access their live view as well. Not sure what their version is or why that was happening.Before this experience I would have rated Ring a solid 5 stars. Just not sure what’s going on now.

So far so good. I purchased this one because my old one was blurry and I’m on a holding pattern to change the account in my name I will use that one in another location, This one has mutlitple options which I have to fully explore but happy with the ease to set up online and by the door. Happy with purchase.
