Simple and Effective, But No 4K Support
The setup was a breezeâjust plug it into the HDMI port and connect it to your Wi-Fi, and you’re good to go. The Alexa Voice Remote Lite is a handy feature, allowing you to control your TV and smart home devices with voice commands, which is a nice touch for convenience.
The HD streaming quality is decent, but it’s worth noting that it doesn’t support 4K resolution. If you’re used to watching in higher resolution or have a 4K TV, this might be a limitation. For basic streaming and accessing free and live TV channels, though, it does the job well. The remote is easy to use, though it lacks some of the advanced features of the more expensive Fire TV models. Itâs simple, which is great if you donât need all the bells and whistles.

Installation was a breeze. Works well, and it has shortcut buttons to go directly where you want: Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube TV, etc. It’s not a remote where you can change the volume. It has about 8 megabytes of memory, good enough for a few apps but not enough for heavier downloads. For those who want more out of their fire stick, I would get the upgraded more expensive version. For simple people like me who wants to watch YouTube and football, this works.

The only issue with the Lite is that it has no on/off switch or volume control. I bought it for a student, so I just wanted something simple, but had I known (and I should have researched it), I would have spent the extra few bucks and gotten the one up. But it works great!

Everything works smooth. So happy with this purchase. I am having a smart Hitachi TV bought in 2009, when i setup first i could not the signal. After trying the adaptor i got the signals. I have been watching fire TV for several weeks now and it has just been perfect. I am also amazed amazon prime video has improved so much over the year and the choice is abundant! Love it.
