Lifesavers when you need it
These are so comforting when you need pain relief in your breastfeeding journey. They were lifesavers for me! They are a bit pricey but can be used multiple times. Although I found that they can only be used a couple of days.

Saved my life!!!
These are AMAZING for the first couple weeks of breastfeeding! I got a set from my lactation consultant and they helped so much! They do last a week for each set so I probably didnât need a set of two but they last so long I can give them away or save them for a future pregnancy.

Nice but hard to keep in place
These were very helpful in healing my nipple damage from my babyâs poor latch. I didnât know how bad it was until both nipples has quite bad scabbing on them which would continually rip off if it got dry. My lactation consultant recommended damp wound healing, using these gel pads to make sure the scabs didnt dry out as they healed. They worked and kept the wound moist, it took quite a few weeks but the scabs slowly healed from the edges and could fall off without ripping. It was a bit of a pain rinsing them/my nipples every time I wanted to nurse or pump, but I think the gel does rub off if it absorbs leaking milk, so itâs a good idea to keep them clean. Rinsing them regularly also helps them stay moist. You do have to keep them in a sealed container when not in use though, they dry out over the course of a few days and get even smaller and harder to keep in place. The biggest pain was that they easily slid around in my bra and often werenât over the nipple after a few hours. So you just have to adjust them frequently. They donât absorb any significant amount of leaking milk, so you can use a breastmilk pad inside the bra and that helps keep the gel pad in place as well.

Cooling and Soothing, but sticky removal
Rating: âï¸âï¸âï¸â¨ (3.5/5)I recently tried these soothing gel nipple pads for breastfeeding, and while they provided a cooling and soothing sensation, I found the removal process to be somewhat painful and sticky. Here’s my detailed review:1. Cooling and Soothing Relief: The gel in these nipple pads delivered a much-needed cooling and soothing sensation, which was immensely helpful during breastfeeding. The gentle cooling effect helped alleviate discomfort and provided temporary relief to sore or sensitive nipples. It’s a comforting feature that nursing mothers can appreciate.2. Effective for Nipple Protection: These nipple pads effectively acted as a barrier between clothing and sore nipples, offering a protective layer during breastfeeding. They helped prevent further irritation and friction, promoting faster healing and providing some relief from discomfort.3. Sticky Removal and Nipple Sensitivity: Unfortunately, the sticky nature of these nipple pads caused some discomfort during removal. The gel adhesive adhered tightly to the nipple, making it painful to peel off, especially when dealing with sore or sensitive nipples. This aspect could be improved to ensure a more comfortable experience for breastfeeding mothers.4. Reusability and Convenience: The reusable nature of these nipple pads is a positive aspect. They can be washed and reused multiple times, offering a cost-effective solution for ongoing nipple protection. The convenience of being able to use them repeatedly adds value to the product.5. Moderate Overall Satisfaction: While the cooling and soothing properties of these nipple pads were beneficial, the sticky removal experience lowered my overall satisfaction. It is worth noting that individual experiences may vary, and some users might not find the removal as uncomfortable. However, for those with already sore or sensitive nipples, the stickiness could be a concern. In summary, these soothing gel nipple pads provide a cooling and soothing sensation that can be beneficial during breastfeeding. They effectively protect sore nipples and are reusable for convenience. However, the sticky removal process can be painful, particularly for those with sensitive or already sore nipples. If you can tolerate the adhesive aspect or find a removal technique that works for you, these nipple pads might still be worth considering. It’s important to keep in mind personal comfort levels and nipple sensitivity when deciding on the best option for nipple protection during breastfeeding.

Must have.
I bought these in anticipation for breastfeeding my second child. My first child, I had a lot of pain and problems, I eventually had to resort to antibiotics to fix my issues. So, I had a lot of nervousness and dread about this time around. I decided I would try the breastfeeding thing again and see how it goes. I would try really hard to do it correctly but I wouldnât torture myself this time around.I bought 3 packs of these things and I wore them 24/7 for the first month, cleaning them and changing them as needed (I think they last more like 4 days for me, rather than 6? They shrink and kind of lose their luster). Man, these things made that first month so much easier. You still must practice your latch, if your latch is bad, these wonât help you at all. The first week left me pretty sore, I donât know if itâs my skin or if Iâm a big baby but I know that without these things, it would have been nearly unbearable again. Iâm buying them for my friends when they become moms because I truly believe in this product.Keep them in the fridge, clean them frequently (I rinsed with water and I rinsed my nipples with lukewarm water at the same time) change them when you need to, itâs absolutely worth the money. I like some of the other brands of hydrogels too, but I like these ones the best because they last longer (or at least, says on the packaging they last up to 6 days unlike the 24-48 hours of the other ones), only downside is that I havenât seen them in stores.

The first thing you will notice is the horrible smell of this product and you will not want to place on your breast that your baby may drink from. The instructions say to wash your breast after using but seriously, the smell is terrible and you will not want this for your baby.
