Strong and effective
Was relatively easy to apply. Sometimes difficult to remove the backer (would be nice if it had a middle “split” like some brands have). Also can stick a bit too well, so be careful what you use it on. Cat HATES it, so he will go elsewhere (he is a kitten, and I am training him to a large sisal scratching post, but he is a bit hard-headed). I bought this brand because it was the best value (cost vs. length).

Wish I’d found this stuff earlier
I have 4 cats. 2 of them are vertical scratches and their favorite scratching material is wood. They have tried to destroy the bannister that goes around the basement stairs. Someone told me about this stuff and it is amazing. It sticks to any surface, even cloth, and it’s virtually invisible. Doesn’t tear anything up when you’re ready to remove it and best of all, it really works. It has deterred my cats from scratching everywhere I’ve put it. I highly recommend it.

Works well – hard to peel off backing
Thickness is perfect, and itâs easy to peel off the roll and apply. It was pretty difficult to then peel the backing off, it took a while with each piece. The roll will last a while. Itâs been an immediate deterrent against my cats scratching our couch. I can definitely see having to reapply it some what frequently as it looses its stickiness as things get on it.

Great double sided tape!
This is actually a surprisingly high quality and large roll of double sided tape. It’s super sticky and I can’t stand touching it by accident.Unfortunately, our cats stopped caring about it after the first day and just walk all over it now lol

Very effective but poses a risk
I have two Siberian kittens and I used this tape to secure few furniture items. They worked perfectly until yesterday one of my kittens tail got stuck to the tape. We tried to get the tail out but in that process a substantial bunch of hair came off and the scared cat bit me in the hand too. My poor kitten is still recovering from that shocking incident and remains anxious. Hopefully he will recover soon!

Good value
I know this is sold as a measure to help keep cats off stuff or scratching stuff, but it works great for other uses. It is wide, and thin. I do wood working and this stuff works great for holding patterns to wood blanks temporally for cutting out those pattern shapes. I have a few large area rugs my wife likes to lay out over areas that are carpeted. Those rugs like to “travel” across the carpet (seemingly even when no one is walking on them even). This tape does a great job of anchoring those rugs (some are 8×10 feet) to the carpet. After anchoring one such rug that covers most of the dining area to the carpet a year ago, that rug hasn’t moved an inch!I liked this tape so much for these other uses (and yes, we originally purchased it for its intended use to keep our cats off things we didn’t want them on, and it worked well for that too), that I went ahead and bought two more rolls just for other uses as stated above. When I need to, I’ll buy more as I use these rolls up on my projects. In my opinion, this tape works better then carpet tape for keeping rugs where you want them, and better then double sided tape sold specifically for projects like mine (less expensive too).

Will Deter A Cat
We have to put this on a few pieces of furniture to keep the feline friends from doing their artsy claw work on them. The tape works well and lasts pretty long before it needs to be replaced (don’t expect to last forever). Most importantly, our cats don’t normally claw or walk on the tape.The only reason for knocking off one star is that these rolls in general can be a little tough to peel the backing off. I wish they would be designed in a way that the backing came off easier. As a tip, once you get it separated for the first cut, make sure you peel and then cut where you leave on the roll a slightly longer length of one side, either the tape or the tape backing. That way, the next time, it’s easier to peel off a new strip. For me, I normally leave the tape part a little longer, fold it, and then cut that small part off the next time.
