Very well made functional tool
I was skeptical about this product when I ordered it because itâs one of those things youâd like to hold and check out before makin g an investment in this type of product, however upon arrival, my mind was immediately set to rest as this compass proved beyond a doubt that it is field ready and capable of being a lifelong heirloom. It has great accuracy, itâs highly functional, the readability is good and the overall build quality and weight are excellent!

A must have for adventure and survival kit
This is a must have for adventure and survival kit. It has a plethora of uses. Clinometer, map and open field navigation, scale for mapping, bull’s eye level, solid feel, high visible readouts, shakeproof and waterproof so easily handles the elements. A definite must for any adventurer, hiking, biking, mountaineering, scouting. It has a clear view sight piece and easy read numbers. Can attain quick precise bearings and reverse with angle and reverse angles in tandem.This really is my go to compass, and works when my I Phone and apple watch batteries are out.

Amazing build quality
Great build quality but its definitely heavy, not the best option for long term survival if youre counting your grams, but for the camping trips i take and the general use ill put it through its great! I just need to learn how to use it fully. **Insert land nav class needed** lol

Its ok for the money, needs some modifications.
Considering the price it was almost a 4 star.It is really heavy, and there isnt enough friction in the hinges. Combine that with them putting the lanyard on the thumb loop and it basically all falls open when you hang it. It needs a seperate lanyard loop. I corrected it by wedgimg the lanyard loop so it is hanging from the hinge pin – no more weight on the end of the thumb loop and adds friction in the hinge so it stays closed, but its gonna get abraded. Needs a lanyard loop cast in.The clinometer is useless and gets in the way. The pendulum can go past the sheet metal and keep the clamshell from closing, and you cannot see the compass face while its closed – so why is there a magnifying dot on the outer glass? Not to mention there is no way to sight a distant object and get a reading because there is no sight level with the body. Its also flimsy. I am going to remove that.The accuracy issues others mention – I think thats because they are not waiting on it to stabilize. Its a bit over dampened. Mine is accurate enough if you wait, but youre gonna have to stop walking to get a decent read – not that you can read it on the hoof anyway because of the stupid clinometer. Have to open it all up.The level – should be where you can kinda get an eye on it while sighting. Should be on the side by the lens like their cheaper one.The scale – nit picking but I would rather instead of having a scale with meters and a ruler in cm, to have 2 scales, the second in miles.Could be a lot worse for the money, but it also could be a lot better with just a little thought put into its use.

La bussa di grandi dimensioni è robusta e ben costruita. I tool inclusi per un corretto posizionamento e misurazioni sono molto efficienti . Rispetto ad altre bussole similari avute in passato, per me questa è la migliore.
