Great customer support and great product
I bought the Aosu security camera. I got it set up and working and loved it. Something went wrong with Home Base. When I contacted their tech support they got back to me very quickly. The person that helped me walked me through step by step, sent pictures and videos of what to do to get the homepage working again. I never could get it to work again, we tried everything. I liked the product so much I was willing to just buy another new one. But they gave me a refund and I have ordered another one, should be here in a few days. The Aosu security cameras are very easy to setup and there is no monthly subscription. The quality of the videos are great and it has several great features. I would highly recommend this product because it is a great product and their customer service is fantastic.

Great battery life.
These cameras are very easy to setup taking about 15 minutes to setup 3 cameras for me. The home base makes it easy for local storage without the need to purchase some form of subscription just to get the features like zone selection and notifications. I have tried others in the past that required a subscription for those extra features. I fully charged them once I took them out of the box and set them up on July 18, 2024. Today is September 25, 2024 ( so about 2 months and 9 days) and this is the first time I had to take them down to recharge them. I have had other wireless cameras on battery last 3 to 6 weeks before having to recharge. Video quality is excellent. Features like 2 way talk back, siren alarms and night mode are all excellent features that work great. These are the best cameras for price that I have found. Highly recommend for price, ease of use, and functionality.

Great price, came fast, high quality feel. Very easy setup and the app functions great. Footage quality is very nice, and has zoom function. One of the cameras alarm isn’t nearly as loud as the other one (I think the speaker came damaged), but that doesn’t bother me too much. Other than that minor issue, great product!

The price is very high unfortunately. So I Decided to look for something else. That is close to it. I came across with this camera. I told myself, I’ll buy four, give it a try. Everyone said it’s easy to hook up at first. I had a hard time because I bought four. I Keep putting the other two, so it wasn’t workingð Till I figured everything out, it was easy yes. Then I play with all the buttons. Try to get used to it. Then I said to myself, Let me try the battery, see how long it will last. Sure enough it lasts a long time. They are much bigger and Heavier. The flash does go on if it’s dark.If it bothers you, No need to worry you can mute it. My Friend said, I don’t like it when the flash goes on. Told her too bad get used to it Hee Hee, It doesn’t bother me at all. Like I said you can mute it. It has alarmed, yes, and it’s loud, I love it. You can also control the alarm, but if I were you, I would not lower it the louder, the better. Toucan Alarm is not that loud. So far, I am very satisfied with this camera. I shall order four more from my friend’s house. Cause she is super busy lady. Working a lot in the hospital and has a German Shepherd, Beijing puppy, it’s perfect for her house. The motion goes off constantly with the puppy. He’s a handsome adorable obedient puppy. the only thing i dont like is charging these. other than that, they detect the slightest movement and are reliable. i bought the 2 cams plus an add on, and im very pleased with my purchase. ive been using them for about 6 mos, so ive had some time to use them. i would recommend. great visuals, good night vision, very good options for each cam. i only use the local storage, and it has served me well. you won’t regret this purchase!update: i liked these so much that i bought another add on and a doorbell cam. they are all able to be viewed within the same app – which is extremely convenient! a lot of folks mention aosu’s amazing customer service… they are absolutely correct. you’re able to send customer service a text thru the app, and they *always* respond within about 30 mins. i would highly, highly recommend their products. you won’t be sorry. between the ease of set up, ease of use, and their customer service, i give them 5 stars.

Camera is a winner
I received my 2 cameras and setting them up was a breeze, everything seems to be working. Pictures are clear, alarm is loud but that is the purpose right, spotlight is bright, you can control most of the settings with a quick click. Easy to take down for charging the battery. I will update more when I am able to judge how long the battery lasts, etc. Great response time from support. The following day I purchased an additional camera to add. THIS CAMERA IS A WINNER!! I was however, told by the question portal on Amazon prior to buying that this could be set up with a laptop but doesn’t seem to be an app/download compatible. I asked in support chat after getting my camera and they said it’s only compatible with phones. So, it seems those answers are wrong. Laptop would be great.

These cameras work exactly as advertised, and the fact that there is no monthly subscription required- is amazing. The battery life is good, Video quality is amazing; both for night vision and during the day. The app is user friendly, easy to use and view cameras. Set up takes no time at all and is very easy. We live in Canada and so far the colder whether doesn’t seem to effect the battery’s life to bad. Now we have not had a winter with them yet, but from other reviews, seems like they still work great. Would definitely recommend these cameras 100%

What was most impressive for us was the quality of AOSU customer service. One of the two cameras we installed was losing signal. It didn’t matter where we tried it, even right next to the other one that had great signal reception. We sent an email to customer support on the afternoon of November 13th. We received a reply in the morning of November 14th that they would send a replacement within 5 days and were extending our warranty for the inconvenience. We received the replacement late afternoon the next day. We charged it up overnight and installed it this morning (the 16th). It works fine and has even detected a little fox walking by in our yard this afternoon. Wow! This is the best customer service we’ve ever had for devices ever. Really, really impressive!Those are very decent security cameras. There’s no need to pay a monthly fee for monitoring or storing videos. There’s the option to subscribe to their secured cloud storage of videos, for a fee, but it’s not really needed for most residential use. The homebase has plenty of room for residential needs. So there’s the initial cost of the cameras and homebase, which is relatively high, but then that’s it.Installation was relatively easy. Since there’s no wiring involved, there’s no need to hire an electrician or installer. A source of irritation are the setting instructions, or lack thereof. Adjusting the parameters requires a bit of fiddling to customize it to your needs. An easily accessible, detailed, online instruction manual with examples would be very useful. If such a manual exists on their site, we have not found it. You have to hunt around for YouTube videos and they are not always what you’re looking for.The infrared light for night vision is very useful but just know that if there’s a street light in the picture, you’ll need the “white-light-aided” illumination turned on in the parameters. Otherwise, the street light across the street will take up a lot of the picture.

I bought the Aosu Base Station that came with two 2k WiFi connected cameras to add some security to my alley and backyard. I liked this combination because it doesnât require a cloud storage subscription with ongoing fees. Instead, the base station has a 32GB memory card that overwrites itself over time. But if there are recorded incidents itâs very easy to save them to your phone. The camera resolution I would say is very good but I wish it was even better. They sell a 5MP camera that I might consider next. Performance so far has been very good. Set up was quite straightforward and once everything is running the notifications are near instant. Easy to define zones within the view of the cameras to track movement and there are other nice features too – voice alert presets, speak through the camera, alarm siren, and a light. The big question for me, going into winter now, is what will be the battery life when it gets cold. Iâll update my review once I have more information about that. If the battery life is good in the cold I may update my review to five stars.

These cameras work great! Super easy to install, notifies me through the app as soon as someone is detected, great sound quality, and you can even talk through it.
