I have a brita bottle and these filters allow me to fill up and clarify the water from any tap. Makes me feel good that I am not adding to the pile up of plastic bottles

Great value for the cost!
I order these every year for my Brita filter bottle! The value is great and lasts me a while. I cannot vouch for how well the filter is working and how much it filters, but my water tastes great and looks clean. The only thing to watch out for is that since the filter is charcoal, it can leave some residue and or black particles in the spout of your bottle which is safe to consume. Don’t panic like I did and immediately assume it’s mold. I recommend buying a small brush to thoroughly wash your bottle every once in a while.

It seems to work fine. It is shorter than the original filter (see photo) and is closed on the carbon end. I assume it just sits on top the bump inside the straw instead of fitting over.Overall, it’s fine and is a good alternative to the OEM filter but I would not necessarily buy this specific version again.

I bought those two years ago, (I know i should have change my filter after just a couple months), the original filter will give you a full nice sip of water, it will offer a certain resistance so you will need to suck for it. After the first sip, the resistance will keep water in the straw, and the next sip will be ready.Those one? They don’t fit properly in the straw, offers no resistance, and the only thing you will have is a bit of foam and bubbles. You will need to take 5-7 sip (at least) before you have as much water has the original will give you… And since there’s no resistance, water doesn’t stay in the straw, so next time you want drink, you’ll be pumping air before having anything to drink…Garbage, don’t buy!
