Season after season, the 1960 Arctix Men’s Snow Sports Cargo Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. Articulated knees allow for a more unrestricted range of motion and comfort as you climb, hike, or ski/snowboard. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot zippers make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has cargo pockets for extra storage and an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. Great pants for skiing or snow boarding
Finally bought this new pair of ski pants after 20 years with the old pair. Great purchase. Fit well, and kept me very warm with just thermal long johns underneath. I’m 6’8″ and 250 lbs – with a 38 waist and 36 inseam. Bought size XL, and inseam was spot on. A little loose in the waist, but just added a tactical belt and issue solved. Kept me warm during a ski trip out west, in the middle of a snow storm with 0 degrees, 30″ of powder, and 40 mph winds. Very durable and warm. Only complaint is the side cargo pockets could be a bit larger, but they still worked OK. Definitely recommended.

Comfortable/warm
These Arctix cargo snow pants are comfortable while keeping me warm and dry. They feel great and I have played in the snow for hours with my kids without any of the snow soaking through the pants.

Great pants for a great price
Seriously, for the price these are phenomenal. They aren’t as comfortable as a great pair of pants, but I’ve snowboarded in them a decent amount and they are warm, dry, comfortable, and durable so far. I’d buy them again and I actually might buy a pair of the red ones – I got the bright green ones at first…

Great budget option
What do you do when your college-aged kid who lives in the South suddenly wants to go skiing in Colorado in 5 days? Easy, you scour Amazon for options that won’t break the bank. I must have hit it just right, because I got a great deal on an Arctix jacket and these coordinating Arctix cargo pants and had them delivered to him with no time to spare. They fit great, and his buddy who went to buy locally showed up with nearly the identical pieces for 3 times as much $. I don’t know if these would work for someone who uses them often, but for the number of times he might wear them, these were great. He can also use them if he goes camping in cold weather.

Good enough!
I used to snowboard at least once a week. Over the last few years that hasn’t been the case. Over the course of moving I lost my pants and needed a pair before this weekend. I read A LOT of mixed reviews about these pants. So this was my experience with these pants.I used them for 2 days on the mountain. The first day was at a resort and the second was just in the snow at a friends cabin. My 2 biggest concerns with these were that they wouldn’t be water resistant enough and the second issue was that they would rip like so many of the 1 star reviews mention. Neither of my fears became a reality. These pants held up to the abuse. Like I said, its been a few years so i spent a good amount of time on my backside and didn’t have any issues with tears or water soaking. There were a few falls I had where I was moving pretty fast and slide for a while and not even the slightest issue with tearing.I didn’t feel the quality of the buttons or zippers were bad at all. I never felt like I was going to pop off a button when I took the pants off. One cool feature that isn’t really accented is that they do have a boot cover in the pant leg to keep the snow out of your boots too. They were plenty warm as well. We had temps down to about 16 overnight and they kept me plenty warm. The second day of the trip we were in knee deep power all day. No issues with leaking at all. Pants kept me warm and dry without any issues. The ONLY thing I will say about them that I wasn’t the biggest fan of was how large the pant legs are. Its nice cause they slip right over your boots but the cuffs on these pants are seriously massive. When you wear normal shoes you look a little silly but with your boots on its good enough!I ordered a size Large and that fit great. Im 6’1, about 190 and wear a 33″ waist. I did use a belt but they fit great! The belt was more cause i knew Id be falling and wanted to make sure I wasn’t flashing the whole mountain!I would definitely recommend these to anyone. I don’t know how long they will last, but for a weekend here and there they will definitely do the trick. And for the price you really can’t beat it

Great for minimal outdoor activity
Bought myself and my family each a pair of these snow pants for our Colorado trip. I got the pants on sale at a great price and figured why not give it a shot since there were so many great reviews. Do they do a great job at keeping you warm? Yes! Are they great for snowboarding or other outdoor winter sport? No! These pants are very fragile. My son tore his pants up in just 2 days of use on a snowboard. They ripped from the crotch, the knee, and on the outer side of the leg. I would recommend these pants if youâre going to do minimal activity. If you plan to ski or snowboard, probably worth investing in a better brand. Again, I got these pants on super sale so it didnât hurt my pocket book much but if youâre paying full price, keep that in mind. Get a pair that is made of better material. I failed to take pictures because I didnât even bother bringing them home. I threw them away at the end of the trip.

These are a great pair of snowpants, especially for the price range. They fit true to size and even have belt loops. I’ve used these for about a year now snowboarding and other activities and they have held up great, with 2 zipper pockets and 2 velcro cargo pockets there’s plenty of room to store everything you need as any other day. When it comes to the material; it’s thick and warm, nothing shy of any expensive big brand names you see everywhere else for half the price. Awesome pair of snowpants that I highly recommend.
