Decent Christmas garlands, more realistic than some
I struggled with whether I should give these garlands 3 stars or 4 stars. I ultimately decided on 4 stars, as I would say they are average quality for the relatively expensive price ($39.99 at time of review), but they are still much better quality than cheaper garlands. Overall, these garlands look as pictured, though they are nowhere near as full as pictured in the arrangements – those must be both or several garlands together. As pictured, the pine stems can also be a bit floppy. At first I wasn’t a huge fan of that, but honestly I think it makes them look more realistic and they can hang over the edges of your mantel to add some dimension. They are made of a flexible rubber-like material, which is why they’re floppy. While the individual stems are floppy, however, the central garland wire running through the whole garland is very stiff. I am not a fan of that stiff material, as it is not very flexible and doesn’t want to stay where you put it. For these reasons I took off one star.

This is just gorgeous in person! I got the “Real Touch Norfolk Pine Garland” – I see some reviews have a different garland for this same product listing. Mine is not the one with the pinecones, it’s the long flowy Norfork pine, and it’s just stunning in person.The feel of the pine is not like anything I’ve felt before with these types of garlands. It’s probably the material, it’s a heavier rubbery-soft plastic and it feels amazing, more like a real pine than something artificial. It also has an interesting smell to it when first taken out of the box. Not a typical chemical smell, something more sweet. Almost like it was intentional. It actually smells nice. I don’t know what it is though, so figured I’d mention it here.The look of the pine is just stunning, really. It looks real. My house is in the woods, surrounded by pines, and this looks no different – really indistinguishable. The color is a gradient, with darker and lighter shading, and this helps a lot in achieving that realistic look.I would most definitely get this again, and will be buying more of it to wrap around my deck over the holidays.
