Pretty easy claim process and expedient payment on claim
There were a few steps to file the claim online, but it was pretty easy and the check for payment on the claim was received quite quickly. Would definably consider purchasing this protection in the future.

Cancel policy
This is a protection plan purchased. However, if the product you are protecting is being returned, should I not be able to cancel or return it?With Amazon customer service on a “Smart Bot”, forces you with options that does not fit.

They do not stand behind their plan
We purchased a patio furniture set that included a “heavy duty” cover, which is part of the reason that we chose this product. We take very good care of our items, but the cover ripped about 4 feet on the top rendering it useless to protect the furniture. We filed a claim, which was NOT “easy” like they state as we had to resend information, resend photo’s, make additional phone calls. I think they were trying to make us give up. When they had nothing left, they just denied the claim, stating that the cover is an “accessory. As you can see from the photo image rips are covered! Never again will we purchase insurance from Asurion!

I got this with a couch, which I canceled the purchase. I now can not get ahold of anyone to cancel this protection plan on an item I never received!
