Nice designs, fabric not so nice
I was surprised when I opened these and they were solid like pieces of cardboard. I opened the zippers and had to push my hand inside the cushion covers down into all the corners to unstick the two sides. They were very stuck together. The fabric is not what I expected at all. These cushion covers look like they have been made from old flour sacks. I put them through the washing machine and the dryer to see if they would soften up a bit. They are a bit softer, but they still look like they are made from old flour sacks and they are definitely not soft like (I believe) a cushion cover should be. Luckily, these are Christmas designs so if I decide to use them, they wonât be used for very long. I think itâs a shame that the fabric is so awful because the designs on the cushion covers are actually very nice. If you are more concerned with how the cushion covers look than how they feel, you may well think these are absolutely fantastic Christmas cushion covers. I took a couple of close up photos so you can see the texture of the fabric. If I had seen this texture on the product listing photos, I would not have ordered these.

Very cute!
First of all, these Christmas pillow covers are very cute! They came very tightly vacuum sealed and they felt like cardboard when I first opened the package. I had to unzip each one and stick my hand inside and rub from side to side, corner to corner because the front and back of the fabric was completely stuck together. Had to do that before even coming close to getting an insert inside. Iâve had problems with the zipper getting stuck several times on each cover especially where the middle fold line is and where the fabric is wrinkled/not completely straightened out. The zippers are not the best zippers by far. The fabric is a medium weight burlap and fairly decent quality. Not super soft, but not super scratchy either. I ordered the 18â x 18â, but all four of these actual measurements are 17-1/2â x 17-1/2â. The designs and colors are adorable, especially the trees and gnomes, reindeer and snowman covers. They all would look good with red, black and/or tan accent pillows. I havenât noticed any chemical smell after immediately opening the package nor while Iâve been checking them out. I have not washed them yet, but will wash them separately on gentle in cold water, lay flat to dry and I donât anticipate any issues. Iâll probably make sure the zippers are closed though, just in case.

These pillow covers are awesome. The graphics are well done and the colors are beautiful.The zippers work smoothly and are well concealed when closed.The material is a synthetic burlap and is thick. These should be very durable, even for exterior use.

What’s up with the burlap feel?
I thought when the material said polyester it would be smoother fabric, but it feels like burlap. Scratchy and unpleasant. I’ve unfortunately received a number of sets like this with varying degrees of sandpaper feel, and this is one of the worst in terms of gritty feel. The designs are very cute, but the sensation? Not so much.
Lost in the 21st Century –
Attractive holiday décor
The description of these pillow covers says they are made of Polyester and are soft to the touch. The material seems more like recycled plastic, sort of like reusable shopping bags. When fresh out of the package, the interior of the cases stick together and need to be separated before you can use them – sort of like a plastic material. The surface of the pillow case is not soft to the touch but has more of a burlap texture, not rough with loose threads but the “plastic” equivalent. These observations aren’t meant to be complaints, just observations. These pillow covers are intended purely for decorative use and are fine for that purpose. The designs are attractive and these will work well as holiday decorations so I am pleased with them.

Rustic style if youâre into it
 This set of 4 Christmas cushion covers have a decoration design and texture that leans towards a rustic style. They are unique in their own style, nice looking, and well made.They use a zipper on one side which works well. The colors are not bright, which goes well with the style.In general my wife is very satisfied with this covers.
