Use on my pc
Got to work on PS5 but decided to use it on my pc instead. At first it wouldnât show up but you have to assign a drive and format first. To do that on window type in disk management on window search. Click on the drive on the lower section of disk management. On top, select action -> all task -> change drive letter and path or format.

After reading many reviews about this external hard drive I thought this would have been a great buy. I currently have a ps5 and thatâs what I intended to use it for. I also have a ps4 with a Seagate 5 TB hard drive that had maybe over 4TB of used data on it from my ps4 games. My plan was to have everything on 1 hard drive and just transfer over the data when I needed to play it. I knew I was in for a lengthy process due to how much data was I going to transfer but it doesnât work.This hard drive has stored a few ps5 games on it already but now tells meâ¦â canât use for ps5 storageâ, it is choosey on the games and data that can go on it. Everyone says â easy to useâ but itâs not. It doesnât sync up, it doesnât work, itâs trash.My old seagate was simple- plug in, store and transfer data- wait⦠all set.This one gives me every reason in the book why it doesnât store data or it will make me wait 23minutes, 47 minutes, etc and then still have the game on my console storage.For example I transferred over Assassin creed odyssey over 4 times from my console to the hard drive at 23 minutes a piece each and itâs still on my console storage??? I shouldnât have to put in every disc of every game when I re install it when I have the data already.Please people do your research and save your money. This is a waste of it and if you really want to waste it just give it to me so I can buy a new hard drive :).Returns are annoying- thank goodness for Kohlâs.
