Released in August 2022, our 3rd generation Water Bottle & Snack Holder takes our Water Bottle Holder and adds a front pouch to store your favorite snack or small accessory for easy and quick access. Our Water Bottle & Snack Holder is designed to carry a 1L Smartwater bottle (2.75″ diameter). The front pouch, which is 4” x 5”, has an elastic front strap so the item you put in the pouch is held securely. The holder easily attaches (see ‘Install Video’) to your backpack’s shoulder strap with snap hook on top and two rear elastic bands to provide stability when hiking. Top and bottom loop pull tabs make it easy to insert and pull water bottle out of the holder. Ultralight weight of 0.9 ounces. Holder dimensions are 4” x 9.5”. The design, material, and stitching used to produce this holder ensures it’s as functional, durable, and ultra-light weight as possible. A little about the material we use: The front and back is made of super durable 100% nylon mesh. The elastic straps, cording, and buckle are made from high-strength nylon. Our craftspeople use reinforced stitching techniques to ensure extreme durability along each seam. If you prefer to have the holder sit approximately 1.5″ higher on your shoulder strap and be attached without the snap hook, please watch the Install Video on our website to see how to remove the snap hook and use the lower buckle as the fastener. Please note that your backpack must have detachable shoulder straps as our holders slide around a shoulder strap. Also, you can carry the Smart Water bottle upside down (see photo) as some hikers find it easier to insert the bottle into the holder this way.
Our water bottle & snack holder is designed to carry a 1L Smartwater bottle and a snack/small device.

Works well!
I guide backpacking and mountaineering trips, go on fastpack adventures, and am an untrarunner. I have yet to see a pack this won’t work well on, including my 5yo son’s backpacking pack. Note that it is too skinny for a Nalgene, but for good reaaon – you wouldn’t want that much bulk/weight on the front. Buy a bottle of water at the grocery store that fits, and reuse it. Also fits a 0.6L Hydrapack water filter soft flask, which is the best backpacking filter currently.

Must have for backpackers
Great fit for the Osprey Eja Bags! Their cell phone pocket is also a must!

Not compatible with all packs
All of the backpacks I tried this on have a loop at the end of the shoulder strap that make this attachment impossible to get on without cutting the backpack straps. Other than that it seems like a good water bottle holder that can help take some weight off of your back and move it to the front. Snack pocket seems pretty small and not useful.

Love the convenient placement, doesn’t add much weight.
I love the simple light weight design. Could be a little bigger in diameter for most standard reusable water bottles. A tall SmartWater bottle fits well.

Perfect for soft flasks
I kept my soft flasks and snacks in these and they were perfect. My friends all eventually bought them as well. I loved how light they were when empty.

Amazing simple and perfect
Works great super easy to set up and super helpful planning to order another one for the other side

Too cheaply made to last very long
It fit just fine but the cheap elastic bands that hold it to your should strap wouldn’t last very long. Save your money. I returned it.

Just what I was looking for

Perfect addition to my backpack so my water is easily reachable, instead of bladder, and my phone is close for on the trail shots. Well made and easy to add to your pack straps.
Graham Kay –
Just ideal for quick access to your drink and snack on the move

The quality was good. However, I used the bottle holders while running, and the straps that attach the bottle holders to the pack got loose over time from the constant bouncing. At the end I tied a knot to stop them slipping. They may be ok if you do a normal hiking.

I have not tried it in hiking, but it can fit only narrow bottles

Bought this for when out on my long hikes in training for the Camino. I can’t reach around to get the water bottle in my rucksack without someone else getting it for me or taking my back pack off. So happy with the purchase, I have attached it to the front of my bag easily and would recommend.
