Very good, lightweight, cold weather pants
These Baleaf cold weather pants are well designed, well made and reasonably priced. The weight of the pants is very light and the choice of fabrics, along with a waffle pattern on the interior, helps maintain warmth. The fit is pretty much as expected. I chose a size small for my 5″5″ 140 pound frame. The legs are slightly long, but that helps keep ankles covered when knees are bent on a bike. The rise is on the short side, which I like, but may be tight if you have other gear on underneath. The legs are not skin tight, so there is room for leggings worn underneath. The knee area is designed to allow flexibility. The waist has both elastic and a drawstring. The elastic is not especially strong, but the drawstring provides backup. Ankle zippers allow easier dressing. The logo is prominent and reflective in the front, but not as bad as some other brands. I prefer not to be a billboard. There are other reflective areas too. Overall the style is subdued enough where you don’t feel like a clown. Overall, these are basic, quality pants which will keep you warm in cold temps while riding or running, and the price is very reasonable.

Great pants for winter cycling.
My first ride wearing these was in 50°F weather and my legs were hot! I think that they will be good down to 32° F and with a good quality base layer underneath perhaps down to 20° ish?I’m 5″ 9″ tall, 190lbs (yes, I need to shed a few pounds) waist is 36″ and chest 42″. I ordered a large and they are perfect. They are generously cut around the knees and well tailored overall which allows for great comfort and flexibility while peddling but with no feeling of the material binding or bunching up. However, they don’t feel ‘baggy’ in any way at all… which is a good thing! The bottoms are comfortable around the ankles (and long enough to keep the ankles warm) but they still manage to stay away from the chain guard, which is great!I haven’t tried them in the rain and so I cannot attest to how waterproof they are but I feel sure that they will be fine in a light shower or two. They seem well constructed and I would anticipate them lasting for quite a while if worn 2 – 3 times a week. There is enough cut in the back side area that allows me to wear a pair of padded chamois pants underneath them.I’m going to order a second pair. An equivalent pair of pants at a cycle store would cost 3-4 times more but certainly not 3-4 times better quality. If I haven’t already mentioned it… these are comfy and warm! The down side is that I have no more excuses not to get out and cycle when it’s cold LOL

Great pants!
I live in a temperate rain forest and our biking is wet, cold, and raw in the fall. These pants seems like a good combination to protect me from the elements. They are fairly heavy and seem well-made. My wife is a seamstress and they passed her brief inspection. When I first put them on, the pants seems a bit stiff. This has gotten better after wearing them a few times. They are very soft inside. I am 5′ 6″ and 170 lbs with very heavy legs. Mediums are often tight on me but I didn’t want all the length so I went with them. The are a bit snug but I like the fit. I can put a thermal underwear underneath without problems. The first thing I noticed when riding was how warm the pants were. I rode in a pretty steady rain….a test of their water resistance! When I got home and took them off they were just a bit damp inside. I thought it was from leakage but realized that I was sweating. Overall I love these pants and would buy them again in a heartbeat. The only potential negative is that they are not very breathable. I would do 4.5 stars if it was available.

Nice product
Got the chance to wear them on my first bike ride. 45°f this morning. Not extremely cold but I’m a wimp so cold for me. My legs were very warm. I got a size to fit over to of my work clothes. Which are fairly bulky. They fit great. The only thing I wish was that the legs could tapper closer to the bottom part of my legs when zipped close. Then there was less chance of them getting caught in the gears.Otherwise I’m very happy

Good solution for colder weather riding and other activities!
Being to hot or to cold can make a ride miserable these will help you in the cold!Outer shell blocks the wind and material is robust, inner lining keeps you warm. I would say if you have temperatures below * 40 degrees F you would be best adding long underwear. Yes I have enough room to add long underwear an continue to be comfortable. The legs are tapered nicely so no issues with getting caught in crank. Internal draw string and elastic in waist. These do not try and slide off which I hate they stay in place very well.I also purchased the TSLA offering in identical configuration and I found them to be a bit more comfortable for my liking. Nevertheless I like both and plan to ware both.* For example 40 deg F with 20 mph (wind as in riding speed)= 30 deg F. A good approximation of the wind-chill temperature can be found by multiplying the wind speed by 0.7 and then subtracting that value from the air temperature. Also calculators can be found online. They pants are also good for casual ware as well a bonus. All around good value.

These are amazing pants for the cost. Bought them for my new e-mtb so perfect for riding in the cold and also for weight workouts at the gym. Well made of good materials and look great. Perfect fit (5’10’.180. lbs. and ordered large). So good i ordered a second pair.

I Got these as I am a wheelchair user and sometimes it Rains. But I got them as fleeced lined as well. and one, i am older now and my legs and Body feel the cold. so thought would try buying a pair to see. I brought a biggish size for comfort and they are that and look and feel Good wearing them. I have been out in the cold and and light rain so far and they have worked a treat!. they are not chunky and make your legs look weird they are baggy enough to look like normal tracksuit bottoms. so i can go out and if it rains feel confident i am sorted and will be kept Dry!. so if you are Disabled and are looking to keep dry this Winter!. bag yourself a Pair!. quality is Great plenty room in pockets and very Comfortable to wear indoors or out!. I brought 2 more pairs so Shows my Feelings on these!.
