Great Phone for keeping kids safe
The first Bark Samsung A15 phone was DOA, but the replacement came quickly, and it works great. True, the phone is nothing exceptional. It gets the job done. But the Bark service is exceptional and worth the premium. The ability to control and track the phone’s use is close to being airtight. I am sure some kid will figure out how to jailbreak it, but it is keeping my kids safe and playing by the rules.

Bark tech support is clueless and their default installation fills up the entire phone
I purchased a phone for my son which is the 64GB version. I only subscribed to the phone/txt plan (no data, no app usage, etc.) however the phone says 50GB of apps are installed and there’s not enough space to keep the phone itself updated. I sent screenshots to tech support who had no clue what was going on, when it’s clear that Bark itself is consuming all of the free space. Unfortunately they hide the consuming apps from view so you can’t even see which ones are the culprit. I recommend you find another provider, it’s not worth going down this path. This is coming from a CTO of a technology consulting firm. Had high hopes, it’s unfortunate they aren’t willing to support to resolution beyond “reset the brand new phone to default config” and see if that helps. No thanks, don’t have time to play dumb with them.

Incredible Peace of Mind for Parents!
I recently purchased the Bark Phone for my child, and I couldnât be more impressed. This phone truly lives up to its promise of being the safest phone for kids. The parental controls are robust and easy to use, allowing me to monitor my childâs activities without invading their privacy. I love the comprehensive content filtering and real-time alerts for potential issues like cyberbullying and inappropriate content. The design is sleek and kid-friendly, yet durable enough to withstand everyday use. The battery life is excellent, and the phone runs smoothly without any hiccups. My child enjoys the phoneâs features, and I appreciate the built-in safety measures that give me peace of mind. The customer service from Bark has been outstanding, promptly addressing any questions I had during setup. This phone is a game-changer for parents who want to stay connected with their kids while ensuring their safety. Highly recommended!

A four
I give this product the four however it is not because of the product itself it looks great however it is not very easy to set up the idea behind the product is amazing and I’ve used it on a separate device however it is hard to set up and no help from the customer service it’s always AI so I decided to return it and keep the device that I already have by just installing the app

Perfect for my 12 and 7 year olds
We bought this for my 12-year olds birthday and couldn’t be happier with it. We did a lot of research and needed a phone that allowed some apps for school and for fun too. But, we didn’t want full open access, which is crazy nowadays. This is great as we control basically everything and can check to see if she is using things too much. Within the first few hours, we already got alerted to a youtube video that was a bit out of her age range and we were able to update some settings easily. The settings would’ve taken us hours to figure out on our own. My daughter loves it and has been fine with the phone shutting down or apps turning off at certain times. I love the texts she’s been sending us throughout the day. We also downloaded some family games on it that we’ve had fun playing. We ended up getting my 7-year old the phone with their starter plan for Christmas because it is right in our price range and we think it’ll be more worthwhile than a watch to her track location since we can upgrade to games and videos when she’s ready. So happy we found this after hearing about all of the issues our neighbors have been having with their kids phones.

The worst set up process in the history of phones
I’ve had this phone for a week, and it’s still not set up. They try to do Customer Service through e-mail only so it takes days to try what they say and them tell them it doesn’t work. I finally got them to send me a link for a phone call. I’d ask immediately for a phone call and hopefully they can help set it up. We are very tech savvy, and this phone has major set up issues.

Best First Phone for teens!
We just received and set up our 13-year-old’s Bark Phone. Set up is super easy – just follow along with the guide and it only took a few minutes! We love that we can control so many features with this phone – like allowing or blocking access to the Google Play Store, the web browser, and even with certain contacts during different times and more. We feel so much more confident as parents giving this phone to our kiddo and knowing we have safe guards in place while they learn how to use technology. I wish we would have had this option with our older teens – what a game changer!

Great first phone!
We looked into several options for our daughterâs first phone and chose the Bark Phone since a few friends recommended it and we have been very happy with it! I found setup to be simple and there are useful guides. We use the starter plan for now and the safety/monitoring tools are fantastic. The phone is pretty locked down, which is what we wanted but it looks like a normal phone so our daughter has enjoyed having a phone like her friends. I definitely recommend it!
