    Pizza Easy & Fast
When they demo pizza samples in the grocery store it seems the pizza tastes better coming out of the small ovens. I didn’t want something big and bulky or where a person might get burned. This little contraption does a great job. Heats up in a few minutes; cooks a thin crust pizza in 10 minutes. Tastes better than cooking it in the full-size oven. Cools down fast for quick put-away.

Used it for a year, oven saver!
I have had this product for a year now and it has been perfect for me to use when I don’t want to use my oven. (My kitchen is too small for a toaster oven.) There’s no lengthy preheating involved and the cook time is considerably shorter than cooking in the oven, thus saving utilities. I simply plug it in, put in a 12″ parchment baking liner (use and toss afterwards, no cleaning needed), wait two minutes or so for the green light, and put in the food. I need to observe the food to see when it’s done, since the time is shorter than if using an oven. But once I learn the cook time for a food item, I can rely upon that time consistently. When I bought this I wasn’t so much interested in cooking pizzas exclusively, but wanted to also cook frozen french fries, onion rings, cookies, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, Jamaican beef patties, and the like. I can say that all of those items I have cooked regularly over the past year and they have come out delicious (and the pizza actually tastes better than oven baked). In my experience pizza and cookies cook best when rotated occasionally (I just rotate clockwise the parchment liner using tongs), and fries and such need to be flipped over. As far as quality, this unit is in as good shape as new one year out. I’m happy to be able to pull this out, make a quick meal, and tuck it away again…no cleaning, no fuss.I find this to be a very useful kitchen appliance and pizza is just one potential food item of many that this is perfect for preparing quickly, deliciously, and conveniently.Edit: For anyone concerned about a potential power surge using this product (as it has no on/off switch), I suggest using a simple and inexpensive surge protector in your wall outlet.

Pizza and a host of other applications from this useful kitchen countertop appliance
This is a very early review, based on limited number of times making pizza and omelettes….I found this pizza maker great – takes 8.5 to 9-minutes to fully cook a unthawed pizza – less than double that for a frozen pizza (bought pre-make from a outlet or store counter) – and very minimal “warm up” time, that otherwise beat all to heck the time a standard over takes for framing up [hence, saving a lot of electricity use].Thus far, it has produced well cooked and balanced cooking – not partially cooked crust areas in the oven. Not had time to take on other menu ideas, though some of these are contained in the small booklet that accompanied the container. [My only concern is that this box had been opened previously and re-sealed, which makes me wonder if this might have been a return to this seller?]. As yet, no problems. But, I concur as regards the Betty Crocker quality and thus far very happy with the pizza maker.

Great price and versatile, but some parts of item description don’t check out
Overall, I’m happy with this tool. I bought it so that I can cook things like pizza and tortillas on hot summer days without having to use the stovetop or oven. I can just take everything out to the garage workshop, plug the pizza maker in, and make dinner without heating up he house. We don’t have AC, so this comes in handy. This thing is made to cook pizza, and it does a pretty good job of that. My homemade pie is cooked within about 12-14 minutes. The bottom crust comes out great. It’s easy to use with parchment paper, which I expected to burn, but it did not. The top of the pizza comes out well cooked and bubbly, but not brown. You’d have to supplement with a few minutes under the broiler to give a brown top to the pizza.I also use it for tortillas. Works great to prep a flour tortilla to make a burrito, or a corn tortilla to make a tostada. It probably works really well for crepes, though I haven’t tried that yet. I have tried to make tacos in it a couple times, with disappointing results. I think it’s just too humid inside this cooker to work for tacos. The item description says it can be used as a “tortilla press,” which is just plain ridiculous. You can use it to cook a tortilla, not to press one. (Unless maybe you want a tortilla that’s an inch and a half thick.) Another part of the description says it’s dishwasher safe, but also “hand wash only”. Huh? It has an electrical cord, so I would not put it in the dishwasher. You don’t need the dishwasher anyway; this product is very easy to clean. It’s simple to use, but imprecise. It’s either plugged in or unplugged; there’s not even an on/off switch, and definitely no temperature controls. I’m estimating it cooks at about 425 degrees. All things considered, I think this is a good value for the price. While it takes about the same amount of time as the oven to cook a pizza, it preheats much faster, so overall cooking time is faster and energy use lower, plus it can be used anywhere where there’s an electrical outlet.

And it’s more than a pizza oven. I use it to toast bread, bagels, english muffins, and they come out perfect. Also good for those frozen “pockets”, jalapeno cheese bites, etc. And it cleans so easily.

It is designed to work on 110 volts and not on 210-220 volts. Not usable in India.
