Inexpensive way to always have clear safety glasses
Safety glasses are cheap, eye injuries are expensive. Way too frequently I’ve found myself using scratched up safety glasses that are hard to see through just because I didn’t have a backup pair. Since I wear them for work as well as when I’m in the garage, I end up going through a few pairs.I decided that I’d always keep a few pairs of safety glasses in stock. These were inexpensive, have good reviews, and carry the ANSI Z87.1 impact certification, at least in theory. The lenses are clear and blemish free. They’re also way lighter and more comfortable than the giant monsters my job will give me. I’ll buy my own, thank you just the same.No, they don’t last forever, and even putting them in and out of the padded container I have on my work bag for safety glasses will scratch them over time. But since I’m paying a little over $1 a pair, who cares? It’s really annoying to try to see fine details through a scratched up lens (or even worse, to go without safety glasses because you ran out). At this price, I can make sure I don’t run out.

These fit my face just fine, but the ear pieces curve in and squeeze my head. I let my grandkids take them, and they have a blast wearing them around the house and using them when their dad is mowing the yard, so they don’t get dirt and grass in their eyes.
