Climbing up a ladder to retrieve a micro SD card every time I wanted to save something? No, thank you! I was also looking for clear HD quality, or even 4K, with infrared night vision, plus immediate notifications for any motion detectedânone of this waiting 5 or 30 minutes!I first tried a kinectcam (with the owl logo) but was super disappointed. It kept dropping the WiFi connection, and I never received a single notification about motion. Back it went! Then, I bought a Wyze cam, but had the same issues and sent that one back too. Worth the price, decently good execution
This camera is pretty easy to set up, and not too hard to fiddle with the settings to get it how you want it. Iâm giving it 4 stars because the first unit I received was defective, but after calling Blink customer service, they went through troubleshooting for about 15 minutes then decided I needed a replacement. Two days later I got it in the mail and set up the new one. I still have yet to test it long term, but so far it seems fine and works as advertised. Not too bad of a price point either.
