Comfortable, loud, long lasting
Compared to BT headbands that Iâve used in the past, this is much more powerful so you can run your device volume lower. The battery lasts a long time. The woven hat is super comfy and fits well. The only thing I would change is to have a USB-C port instead of micro USB for charging.

A great Holiday gift!
The cap I used for many years was getting a bit worn â and it didnât play music â so I decided to replace it and found this hat on Amazon. I like the âwool capâ style and this hat is certainly that. I figured the Bluetooth capability was a plus, so I got it for only a bit more than a cap without any of that.I received it promptly and inspected it while charging. It appears well made and the fabric feels sturdy and light. The one I got is all black with a small leather-like patch on one side to show various controls and designate proper side. There is a small cutout in the underside for snaking the charging cable (included), and there is also a small area left open to remove the speakers so that the cap can be washed.Bluetooth connection is easy and straightforward â there is a small set of instructions in English to show how to connect/disconnect the Bluetooth. The instructions also clearly illustrate how to use the various controls after connecting with your device.Speaker sound quality is pretty good for such small items, and I had no issue with clarity or volume. As with any speakers or headphones so close to your ears, please be careful not to raise the volume to high.Call quality was good, and the instructions show how to handle incoming calls. The microphone was clear, but it wasnât as good as a boom mic-style. For the cost though, this was fine. Battery life was ok â again, in a device this size you canât expect miracles â better than I expected and well able to handle prolonged playing. Be aware that estimates of battery life are always going to depend on what is being played and at what volume. In short, I ordered this originally because I thought it was kind of neat and figured even if I found I didn’t use the music part much – I still have a cool hat. I can happily say that it has really changed the way I use my phone. Having the hat keyed to my phone makes listening to music and podcasts so much easier.

Basic Bluetooth Beanie
I always take my headphones when walking my dog, or working outside. Last spring, I ran a 5k, and I ended up not being able to use my headphones, so a bluetooth hat quickly went from a novelty item to something that would actually be useful to me. With the colder weather approaching, I finally decided to try this hat out. Here are some thoughts after using it for a little while:Connection/Battery- Paired easily, and connects quickly to my phone every time- Have had minimal distortion, but never had the connection drop- charges via micro USB- I have gotten a few hours from the initial charge (10-15 minutes at a time, not continuous), and have not had to recharge yetSound- the speakers are loud enough to hear well (because they are very close to your ears). At higher volumes, there is definitely some sound bleed, but it’s not really an issue for my purposes.- It’s great for podcasts, fine for music, but sound quality won’t blow you away. I’m not sure it could be much better though, unless you have a hat with earbuds built inBuild quality- speakers are lightweight and removable so you can wash the hat- the housing (that holds the battery, buttons, and the left side speaker) is bulky. It’s not uncomfortable, but you can tell it’s there. The right side speaker is relatively flat and you can feel it with your hand, but it’s not really noticeable overall- the hat itself is warm-ish. It feels like a lightweight hat material, and provides only limited protection from the elements. In anything cooler than 50ºF (10ºC), I would probably use a hood over this hat, or wear a different hat.- The controls are easy to access, and work pretty well. Unfortunately, they are not so intuitive, as the minus and plus buttons control Prev/Next track respectively with a short press, and work as volume controls with a long press.I’ve enjoyed using this hat so far, and look forward to wearing it for my next 5k
