Got this to replace an older receive-only adapter that died after about a year (the square black one with blue lighting that seems to be sold under several different names). I read the descriptions and reviews of the many, many available options and settled on the T-ONE because it is Bluetooth 5.3 (most others said 5.0 – not sure what this even means but hey I want the latest), it is highly reviewed, it is priced right (even had a $5 coupon), and it is both a receiver and transmitter. It came well packaged with mostly comprehensible instructions (I only scanned them) and the required assortment of cables and adapters. I set the unit to Receive mode and plugged it into my AudioEngine A5 powered speakers. I easily found and paired it with my iPhone and got a pleasant voice confirmation (rather than the full blast harsh tone that the previous adapter used to give which always made me fear for the health of my speakers). I streamed some Apple music and it worked and sounded great! Noticeably better, more detailed sound than before. It has great range, too – i walked down the hall and into different rooms (well past the point where my previous adapter would lose the signal) and it never disconnected fro any point in the house. Since these are so affordable, I got a second unit to give my Vizio TV Bluetooth capability. I set this one to Transmit mode and connected it to the RCA audio outputs of the TV. I pushed the multipurpose button on the unit and easily paired it with my AirPods (without having to refer to the instructions). This one worked like a champ, too. There might be a tiny bit of lag on some sources – the TV has a synch adjustment for this but I didn’t need it or try it. Finally, I synched the 2 T-ONE adapters to each other – one as a BT receiver for the powered speakers and the other as a BT transmitter from the TV. Again, they paired easily to each other and worked great. I couldn’t be happier. The sound, range, and stability are superior to previous generation “audiophile” adapters I have used. And they are tiny! Like a package of Tic Tags. My only issues/concerns are: 1. Since the adapter remembers 2 devices (in Receiver mode), these devices can inadvertently “steal” the connection from each other. Great when you want to quickly switch sources, not great when it’s unintended. I was listening to music from my phone and when my wife played a video on her phone the adapter dropped me and connected to her. Won’t be difficult to manage for us but could be in other situations. 2. These adapters have built-in batteries with impressive specs. Like all such batteries, their lifespan and performance are dependent on proper charging and discharging cycles. I don’t need my T-ONEs to be mobile and will likely just leave them plugged into their chargers all the time (as if they are AC adapters). I don’t know if this will cause a problem down the line – I guess I’ll see. Bottom line – I don’t think you can do better for the money.

Works great, and the sound is awesome with our Soundcore P3 earbuds. Had to shut off pair one, to get pair two to connect. Now they connect instantly every time. No noticeable lag. I can use it to extend the Bluetooth range on my laptop. Excellent range when using it around the house and in the office. Nice size and comes with all the connection option cables you’ll need. Highly recommend.

Really.like this one. Sound quality is good enough for minidisc players and Sony WF-1000XM3 earphones. Easy to connect and reconnects quickly. This thing is alot smaller that pictured. Only negative for me is that I can’t get it loud enough.
