Works great with Google
I bought this to power our string lights in our backyard & so far I love it. It took me like 5-10 min to get it set up as the app didnât pick up on it on its own & the instructions were a little confusing to me but once I got it linked in the app it was super easy from there. The instructions to connect it to Google Home were very easy to follow. Now I can just tell my Google mini to turn the lights on. I can also control them from my phone if needed. This is a way better option than the remote control plug that my husband had bought previously cuz I donât want to have another thing to keep track of. I definitely recommend it!

I received the outlet on 11/21/23, so I’ve literally only had it for one day, but it’s been working great. I was able to easily setup the Wi-Fi to my Xfinity router and access the outlet to setup on and off schedules. Keep in mind, while scrolling through the list of products through the app, you must select “Socket WiFi”. While setting up through the app, it stresses that it can only connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi, however my router is a dualband with one login. A notification appeared through the app stating it can only connect to a 2.4 and that my system is a 5 GHz. Press continue to finish the login process and all should be well. One thing that did concern me is that I had to force the plug into the outlets socket. Nevertheless I’ve setup an on and off schedule for my Christmas lights and unless the unit fails to work, I’ll be happy with it.

Required Android App Doesn’t Work
I hate writing bad reviews, but sometimes it’s necessary. This triple socket, high-wattage, Alexa-compatible smart plug looks and feels solid and well constructed. The off/on button and LED seem to work, but I can’t really tell because the Android App required for setup crashes every time I launch it.My advice is to stick with a Alexa devices with Alexa compatibility logos. I just couldn’t find one that would handle 120v 1500w, which is what I needed to turn my two 1500w shop heaters off and on from inside my home. That’s why I selected this one.I followed troubleshooting and on-screen error message instructions, cleared the app cache, even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It stayed up on the screen a couple of times just long enough to fail to find the live plug blinking in setup mode on the desk next to it. It couldn’t find the device with Wi-Fi or with Bluetooth. Then, after failing, on each retry, it crashed repeatedly immediately upon launch.My phone, BTW, is a Samsung Galaxy S23+, so no slouch. Since the instructions say the plug only connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, I temporarily disabled my 5GHz and 6GHz router signals. Still, nothing worked.I’m returning it (actually, both of the two I purchased) today for a refund.Summary: Find an alternative product. This one is junk. Or at least the app is junk. Real shame. I guess I’ll just trudge through the snow to start my two heaters again this winter, then back to the house to wait for my shop to warm up each morning.Hope this helps.Happy shopping!

Has been working flawlessly for 2 years now!
I first bought one of these 2 years ago. I use it about 2 or 3 times a day, every day to turn on five 100w ustellar LED flood lights. Has worked flawlessly ever since. Just bought another one to add more lights to the back of my house. Love the app. Have simplisafe cameras all over the inside and outside of my house and can control the lights with this app from hundreds of miles away, and flip the cameras on the simplisafe app to see my property when I’m away and its night time (the simplisafe cams have a limited range with the built in IR lights). Sorry for the terrible quality camera screen shots. Havent cleaned the pollen off the camera lenses in a week. This outlet plug adapter is friggin awesome! Its simple, it just works. No connection issues ever. Its always connected. My router is completely across the house. I do have a gaming asus router, so the range on it is ridiculously far. So as long as you have a good wifi signal, you won’t have a problem. Also, no, it does not control each plug individually. If you need to control 3 different outlets, buy 3 of these items. They are cheap enough. Its also very much weather proof. It has gotten wet occasionally when I power wash. But its stayed on my porch for the past 2 years, so its gotten 100+ degree weather here in GA. Plenty of high humidity, plenty of 20 degree weather, no issues. Also, you can put the app on multiple phones, and log into the same account, and when you press the on button on one phone, it flips to on in real time, on all phones. Its simple, its rugged and it just works, all the time! Just friggin buy one! Buy it now, you will not regret it!!!

Me gustó que se puede programar y usar con Google Home. Lo único malo es que la programación solo aplica en todo el aparato. No es separado como en el Kasa. Los tres tomacorrientes tendrán la misma programación.
