Accessory pockets
Back in the day, you could easily buy accessory pockets for packs. Now it doesnât seem that the major manufacturers are making them. This product is exactly what I was looking for. I put it on the shoulder strap of a Patagonia backpack. Looks well made and sturdy. Came in a day and was cheap. Whatâs not to like ?

Overall not bad
It’s not bad. It is a bit wider than I expected so it feels kinda bulky. But it fits my phone and battery pack, as well as headphones, and bug repellent wipes for easy reaching. I’d give it an 8 out of 10.The only thing that kind of bugs me is its a different color than my pack, and it really stands out. Would have loved to have different colors to choose from. (Pack is grey, this is green)

Lots of Room & Military Strong
This backpack strap is so useful. It attaches so well to a backpack and belt. If you add the carabiner then you can really hook the small bag anywhere. Even gym equipment has small areas where to hang these bags. I have used the bag at the gym, climbing up a 14k ft mountain, free falling and more, and this little thing still looks new. Super, super sturdy. The Velcro is also really good and strong. iPhone 11 max, air pod pros, 2 airline approved sized bottles, eye solution and inhaler fit in it at the same time with room to spare. Space for your ID and credit cards. This bag is great for backpacking, gym and just simple everyday carry.

Handy accessory for a backpack
This is a nice little pouch to strap onto your backpack shoulder strap. Easy to install, and very stable. The 2 zippered pouches are capable of holding a number of small items. I used mine to hold my iPhone and a digital camera, but it could also hold a couple of granola bars, or other items that you need easy access to. I did not feel comfortable putting my iPhone in the front mesh pocket, but I did keep my clip-on sunglasses there, without a problem. Overall, a very useful purchase.

Sharp screws, too short for my phone
I’m only giving this 3 stars because the ends of the red screws on the molle clip are left raw and sharp. The first time I used it I scratched myself and it hurt for hours. I am trying to think what I can cover the ends of the screws with so they don’t hurt me again. This will be especially important as the ends of the screws are under the backpack strap resting against your shirt. So, if you’re wearing a thin shirt, they are going to poke you right through the material. The weight of the pack pressing on you is going to make it worse. The only other negative thing is that it’s slightly too short for my Samsung S21 Ultra so the zipper won’t shut. I still use it for my phone and just leave the top open. On the positive side, the molle clip works great…in fact, as long as your backpack straps are not wider than 3″, you don’t have to have a vertical strap as stated in the ad. My main shoulder straps are plain and do not have a horizontal or vertical strap attached, but I was able to put the molle clip right on the shoulder straps and it fit fine (my straps are exactly 3″ wide. Anything wider and the molle clip wouldn’t fit). You can turn the screws to adjust for the thickness of the strap to get the pouch to fit snugly. All in all, I would purchase this again because the idea is great, but I do think improvement is needed. I love having a quick place to stash my phone within reach without having to take my pack on and off.

BOOSTEADY Backpack Strap Pouch, Smartphone Strap Pack
I bought the Boosteady Backpack Strap Pouch to put my Samsung S20 Ultra 5G in while I hike. The phone is too large for the pouch. Very bummed. However, the pouch looks like it will work well to carry munchies, kleenex, or anything that you may want to get to easily while hiking.

writing titles is the hardest part of a review
I love this thing. It has two pockets, and I put my phone in one, for easy access for pictures, and a 3 oz pepper spray (actually more like a mini bear spray) in the other. It’s just the right size, big enough for what I want to store in it, and small enough so it’s not too bulky. I liked it so much, I bought another one, but it’s hard to remember what it’s called when I’m searching my orders. A strap pouch, strap pack, I guess that works.

Awesome, been looking for years for a decent shoulder pouch that I can easily store my iphone or camera and place it in and out. This is it, finally. I have bought one for each of my packpacks. It has a real easy to use zipper, two compartments inside and outside pouch. Not heavy at all and this will come with me on month long treks!

Used as an odds and sods bag for photography…I like it!

Bought this for my wife to give her a bit of extra storage for her rucksack when we are out hiking. The material is proving nice and sturdy so far, and she uses it to store her mobile phone, lip balm and other bits and pieces like her keys. A few people on our walking group have commented on it and asked where we bought it from. Recommended.
