Worked fine for a few months, then went crazy. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.
Without obvious cause, the unit started giving crazy readings regardless of who was blowing into it and what state of actual inebriation they were in. Then it started giving error codes 1 and 3, but there is no mention of error codes in the manual. Tried using the “reset” button on the back and it did nothing. Tried to find this company online and they literally don’t exist. The manual mentions a German marketing company called Meiz Tech GMBH. There is no information on them being related to this VPow unit. Feel like I got scammed. VERY DISAPPOINTING. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Great item to have, easy to use just follow the instructions
I love my new breathalyzer. Every household should have one. We like to host numerous social gatherings. Most of my friends like to drink and don’t realize if or when they should be behind the wheel of a vehicle. Once I let them breathe into the breathalyzer, they change there mind about driving…Keep in mind that you need to wait at least 20 minutes before using it after you drink and also wash your mouth good.This item is great we also have used this when we go out. Once I felt like Iâm too dizzy to drive and I used it I was below the limit. I still didnât drive but it was interesting but this has stopped my husband from driving at other times because he was just above the limit. Easy to use and great tool.

Ease of use, ease of mind, continued accountability
I’ve been sober 8 months now and decided to purchase this to give my husband piece of mind and to build trust back, showing him how serious I am this time around. I use it every day, multiple times a day, take videos of myself to show him while hes at work, or while I’m away on a work trip. It has helped keep me accountable and is helping our marriage grow back to what it was before my alcohol consumption got out of hand. It may seem corny but for us this is a game changer! It is also incredibly easy to use and is small enough to conceal when traveling for my job. Love the extra pieces (which are made of glass) in case one breaks accidentally and the nice case to carry it in. Not to mention an excellent price! 5 stars all around!!

This product in my view is essential to have whether this particular type of another. However I have checked and tested this brealtherizer over the month and it works really well. I do understand that this is not a calibrated unit but it does give a reasonable accurate indication. I would definitely recommend this product, but understand I would make sure not 1 or 2 checks are showing zero before I would drive my car. Simple to use, reasonable cost, but ultimately will save your licence, fines and possibly a Jail sentence. Bottom advice is don’t drink and drive but this electronic device gives a good indication of the alcohol in your body and therefore I personally would this recommend this product.

Bought this ahead of the Christmas holiday and party season. As part of my job I need to travel 35 miles each way, four days a week and though I try to stay off the booze during the week, during this season and after birthday parties and nights out, it is so important to be safe – for you and everyone else sharing the roads.This item was at an excellent price and right away it seemed to pick up on every detail. Really simple to use and supplied with mouthpieces, so ready to go out the box with a couple of batteries. It seems very accurate – obviously I don’t have a police breathalyser for comparison but it seemed to match up. When I had a pint and a half, it was on the borderline. A drink later and it was showing as a caution and one afterwards it was very clearly beeping as warning. Obviously this was a test and I was not driving after, but for my size and build this seemed to match with UK guidelines.I work in a professional healthcare role and I have sadly seen many practitioners caught out “the morning after” and that could be the difference between a career and a non-career. This is an excellent bit of kit that might just save your life and the lives of others in many different ways. 100% recommended
