This just works: connected switch pro to PS4.
The only con of this product is the green flashy light is a bit distracting, but it seems to work flawlessly with no changes needed for Switch pro connection to PS4. I am surprised at how well it works actually. You did give up the ability to ping or use the middle pad on the ps4 controllers, but it was wonders on helping my wife with Carpal Tunnel.

    Works almost perfect
I’ve been using for a couple o days, the Wii motion works perfectly but the main reason for me to buy this product was to use my Wii Classic controller pro which is the most Playstation like from Nintendo and because I think could be better for N64 games (Nintendo Switch Online) because it doesn’t have the joystick press buttons and it has 8 sides (better to controller de C buttons). Every button on Nintendo Switch works but one, the “select” (-) button, I thought it was my Wii Classic Controller pro, but I used on mi Wii U and it works perfectly, so it is the Brook adapter. I could gave 5 stars but when you’re playing N64 games in the online service, the “select” button its very important, so I had to remap the buttons to have the pause menu.

QA problems hamper a potential Brook slam dunk.
I like Brook and their adapters. I have a long history of using their Super Converter line, since it would allow me to get my PS3/PS4 fightsticks on Xbox and my 360 controllers on PS4! There is a certain level of quality associated with these, most likely due to their prevalence in the competitive scene. This particular adapter focuses on Wii and Wii U era controllers to PS4/Switch and seems to suffer because of it. It does not have the signature Brook polish. As mentioned in a previous review, I had gotten access to one of these adapters prior. It emitted a low pitch buzzing noise at all time. Furthermore, the controller does not have any way to change the default mapping. Any controller plugged into it is read as a Switch Pro Controller, which creates discrepancies as Wii era controllers don’t have the same deadzones. In Quake II Remastered (PC), this registers as my camera sticking at some angles. If I hit diagonally, it won’t stop moving until I click the stick in again. Catherine Full Body (PS4) goes haywire from detecting left stick inputs and I have no real way of moving around because of it. It should have some kind of programmable button combination that changes the controller settings, but Brook didn’t care enough. I think when my second one came with no buzz, I realized they did not put adequate testing into this product. If they could resolve these issues, it’d meet the Brook standards. A low latency, easy to use adapter for your favorite controllers. Right now, it seems destined for the bargain bin.

    So many controllers
This adapter opens up a roll of possibilities with those old controllers you have lying around. Weather is using your NES classic controller on the switch online. Oh you want to experiment with using a Wii classic controller on PS4 this adapter has covered. Set up is easy with the provided instructions and it’s a massive value considering all the controller and system combinations you can achieve. I just wish they made one with N64 controller support.

Does not work with Wii Guitar Hero Controllers for Clone Hero
I bought this to see if it was a cheaper/faster solution than the Raphnet-tech V3 Wii Adapter. I thought I’d be the guy to see if this worked since there was no other reviews on it. So I bought and tested. This does not work with Wii Guitar Hero controllers. Tested for hours. Don’t waste your money.

Works very well, with some glitches
I have been primarily using this for my PS5 controller on Switch. This controller works great with accurate button mapping and gyro functionality! However, the controller will often disconnect randomly, even with full battery. It will work for long stretches, but then start disconnecting. It doesn’t do this when used with the PS5, so I am at a bit of a loss. Otherwise, this is a great adapter for many different kinds of controllers and has certainly come in handy!

TLDR: Yes. Get One. DO IT!
I just happen to be the author of a somewhat popular program whose purpose is to use Wii U Pro Controllers on PC, so naturally I’m a big fan of the Wii U Pro controller due to its rare placement of dual topside analog sticks. I’m also very much fascinated and picky with game controllers in general. Consider that my credentials when reviewing this product.First of all, since it works with quite a few of different controllers you can use whatever your likely favorite controller is, so if you prefer the Switch or PS4 controller or one of the other ones it supports, you can use that controller on another console or computer that it wasn’t made for which is just very satisfying. Syncing them is straightforward and they stay paired which is of course essential. I also appreciate that it has a Wii extension slot on it so if you are looking to use something like a classic controller (or variant) you can just plug it in and don’t need to use a Wiimote and eat up batteries, however this is going to be best for when your setup is close to your tv/monitor unless you have extension cords. You can tell that they really put thought into how this needs to work to make the most games fully playable. For instance since the Wii U Pro controller doesn’t have as many central buttons (minus, plus, and home) as the Switch and PS4, they made it so holding the minus button serves as a function button that lets you press L for minus and R for share. The real amazing feature however is the ability to remap most buttons they way you want it. That is a must feature for me since I’m probably one of the only people who likes my Nintendo controller to be mapped in a way so it is half positional and half logical (For Switch to XInput ABXY = ABYX). Most other similar devices that I’ve used only allow you to select between pre-configured layouts at most. The hardware itself feels to made from decent material. You’re not going to be banging it around so it’s technically not that important. I do appreciate that the one button it has is a soft press button, as in its not one of those super cheap push buttons that click when you push it (like an XBO L/R button), I detest those and the soft button just feels like a nice little detail. The light indicator is pretty easy to tell what’s going on. If you have it plugged into a compatible device and if your controller is connected or not. The light isn’t necessarily ideal for playing in a dark room (not going to knock it for that) but at least it isn’t a super bright blue light like so many electronics like to use nowadays. Also, the firmware is upgradable, which means it has the potential to support other controllers in the future (as of now it does not support the N64 Switch controller) and perhaps it might support Xbox One some time which would be great. I do wish it came with a printed version of the instructions since the page the QR code brings you to has a long list of items on it and this was somewhere in the middle. The instructions themselves were clear.Overall, I’m glad to have one of these around and will for sure be using it when I eventually get to my PS4 game backlog switching those controllers out for something with longer battery life.
