Great for caregivers
This device is wonderful for caregivers. It frees you up from needing to constantly check on your loved one during the night to see if they are okay, comfortable or have ANY needs. If they are capable of using it, it functions exactly like a hospital call button and they can ring it whenever they need you. It’s volume is adjustable and can be set loud enough to wake you from sleep. Excellent! Easy to set up, as well.

Excellent Product!!
We especially like the 2-way radios as we live in a split-level home. They have a long range from my husband’s shop to the house. I would highly recommend these products.

Peace of mind
Purchased this security alarm for my wife, we’re both retired and active. My wife is wheelchair bound and I have a lot of outdoor work that needs to be done. I have one alarm in the house and the other one in my shop. I carry the walkie talkie with me when outside. So far we haven’t needed it, and I hope we don’t, but it gives me piece of mind when out of the house.

Great
Got this for my parents. My dad can go outside or take a nap and if my mom needs him or falls she can just press the button. The walkie talkies are an added bonus for when they are shopping and get separated then can find each other easily.

Exactly what we needed
Setup was super easy and product was just what we needed. Plenty loud and is easy to use, good value compared to other systems I shopped as comparable systems.

Perfect especially for those with limited mobility
I’m currently nursing a broken ankle and music is often played loudly at my house. It is sometimes difficult for me to let those in other rooms know I need assistance. These items work perfectly. We reserve the alarm for emergencies and use the Intercom for everything else. We have had zero issues with them, and I highly recommend them. Well worth the money.

Very disappointing!
Horrible! I expected them to help me communicate with my Mother in another room. No dice. The walkie talkies did NOT work past the first few hours! I was sent another kit and had the same results. So I returned both of them.

Keep Looking….Elsewhere
Do not count on the instructions in the box to tell you anything. Not only are they too small to be truly legible, they are nothing but button labels. The instructions on the Amazon listing are far more informative. If you buy this, you had better hope that they don’t ever take down the listing or you will have NO idea how to operate your system. Not that the instructions work, though. On the receiver unit, I can’t change the alarm tone and have it save, despite following the instructions.Perhaps I assumed that this set would do something that it can’t, but I was under the impression that the call button, when pressed, would also call the walkie talkie unit. Not so. You either need to have one of the walkie talkies next to the person you are caring for, OR, if they are mobile, hung around their neck (no strap is provided for this). You are supposed to be able to ise the walkie talkies as vox (hands free, voice activated). But, again, despite following the sketchy directions on the Amazon listing, I had a very hard time making it work, and then only intermittently. There is a significant delay when it DOES work as voice activated, so that you will miss the first 3-4 words and have to ask for a repeat. Not the best when you are communicating with the elderly.Pressing the button to communicate does work, and the transmission is clear. But if the person has cognitive or dementia issues, this might not be ideal. And make sure that you charge it nightly. There is NO information on how long a unit is supposed to hold a charge. Dead unit means you are stuck in the house tethered to the chime unit and unable to find out what is needed until you get to them. Also, when the Call button is pressed, you only get ONE chime. If you are a heavy sleeper, you may miss it. There is no way to make it ring until you acknowledge it.Also, no instructions anywhere on how or what battery to change it to when the Call button is dead.I’m kicking myself for not buying a more expensive and reliable, easy to use system. But I needed something quickly to take care of an elderly parent.I would not recommend this unless you have a high frustration tolerance and low expectations.
